The property is good for group and as it has room that are suitable for the group size. However some areas need updating, such as carpet in the rooms look really tired and worn out. The cups in the room had tea stains on them.

The place is easily accessible. However, the floor carpets in the bedrooms would do with changing. Locking system needs upgrading, having to physically carry the key around can be a pain. To share 1 key yet sharing a room is a pain.

My new go to place in Milton Keynes after recently taking the plunge and now having stayed 3 times in 3 weeks! Great facilities, decent rooms and very quite - whats not to like. Plus priced at a price that cant be beaten.

It is conveniently located for out-of-town access and the free, relatively simple parking is a definite positive. Personally I was disappointed to find that the pool and health-suite pictured are not actually part of the hotel but are the adjacent Nuffield Health facilities, and close at 6pm at weekends. This is on the desk top website, but I had not seen anything about this on the mobile site when booking so just be aware if, like me, you're specifically booking for a pool etc. I'd have booked elsewhere had realised this - perhaps it could be made clearer? The sleeping areas are set back from the main entrance building and all signage is pretty poor. I was not informed of a lift, despite being given a room on the first floor so had to carry my case quite some distance and up and down stairs - it turns out there is a lift on at least one part of the building but not signed at all. The room itself was small but as expected and adequate for my needs but alas very noisy and I was kept awake and woken again but the very loud doors banging and people coming in to their rooms between 11pm and 3:30am. The hotel is not to blame for inconsiderate guests but the door closures could be adjusted so that they don't slam! At 3:30am I was woken with a start by a bang so loud I thought it was my own room door! There was also something outside banging, but as it was a windy night I assumed that they had just not secured something and not realised. Would not book a weekend stay again.

Overall just a weird a place. Obviously a huge facility for training and conference but then a hotel somehow included. Room was basic. Radiator was on but no heat, so very cold room. Lots of noise outside the room. Id probably find somewhere else next time.

Room was spacious and clean. The bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was also clean. The only minor issue i had was the lack of variety for food, the food available wasnt nice and the coffee wasnt nice eithier. I stuck to the herbal teas and hot chocolate which were nice.

Great bed, warm room, lovely hot bath, good shower, everything worked fine. Excellent breakfast. Only 2 minor issues, when checking in I wasn't given the fob allowing access to the wing and it was not explained that I needed a fob. The doors were propped open at this time so access wasn't a problem, I only discovered quite late in the evening when returning and spent some time out in the cold trying to work out how to get access. Then I went to reception in another block and the lady gave me a fob. The second issue is that the doors need some soft closers as I was frequently disturbed by other doors slamming.

Clean room but other areas need attention
Standard room but use of gym and parking including so good value for money. Reason not more satisfied with stay is because the corridors and stairways stank (smoke and pee) very off putting.
