More “miss” than “hit”
This charming well-located house suffered on several counts. The host does not provide sufficient information—we had to reach out several times (including through an international phone call that will likely be costly!) for something as basic as the WiFi code! There was no heat or hot water and, again, no information on what to do. We contacted the host but managed to hunt down the controls and figure out how to deal with the system before the host replied. The beds were uncomfortable (need new box springs or mattresses). No instructions on how to use TV. Much of this could have been avoided if we were sent advance information which is usually forthcoming from Vrbo hosts. Once we reached the host, she assisted us but it took awhile. Beaune is lovely and we’ll certainly return but not here!

As highlighted by this guest the house is charming and well-located which I think says it all! There is sufficient information in the house for guests to have a very pleasant stay, including the WiFi information. Indeed the boiler for some reason had switched off, this is known as an ‘unforseen circumstance’ for which I apologised. It was unfortunate but quite simply out of my hands, I am sure we have all had these problems within our own homes. Within 30 minutes of being made aware of the problem I was in touch with the guests and the problem was sorted. From looking at past reviews and indeed taking into account the Premier Host Status I received just this week I think it is very clear to see who the problem is here.

Fabulous stay
This house is perfect- location, cleanliness, super fast internet, and the kitchen was really well equipped. We are a super time. The bedrooms are on the second and third floors and the sitting area is on the fourth so it would be tough if stairs were and issue for you, but we loved it and would certainly stay here again.

Cosy and quiet house in Beaune Centre
A very pleasant stay in this cosy house on a quiet sidestreet in Beaune. The owner has gone the extra mile and made it very comfortable and well-equipped, and was very responsive when there was an issue. Would go again!

Lovely home in a medieval village
Charming, lovely home. Super clean and great communication with host. Walked everywhere. Conveniently located behind Hotel de Ville on v quiet street with lots of parking. Only caveat is that home stretches over four levels with kitchen on fist level, one bedroom each on second and third levels, and sitting room on fourth level. This may not work with small children or impaired adults, but was perfect for us! Great option in Beaune!!!

This flat is perfect location. Walking distance to central Beuane. Plenty of parking. Safe. Wine tours will come right to your door step. It also has all amenities you need and a very friendly owner.

LOVED this place!!!
My wife was attending The Cook's Atelier cooking school and we stayed at Vivienne's wonderful home. From the moment you open the door(with the huge skeleton key!) and see the old hand hewn beams exposed on the ceiling, I was hooked! The kitchen was well supplied with all new modern appliances(finding the refrigerator was fun!) And all the cooking utensils one could ever need! The rooms were comfortable especially with the supplied oscillating fans and the fourth floor family room was the perfect escape. The second floor shower is European size so if you're a large person it'll be a tight fit! Love this place and would highly recommend for anyone staying in Beaune!

Best Place To Stay in Beaune!
As long as stairs are not an issue, this is absolutely the best place to stay in Beaune. The house is well-equipped and on a quiet residential street within a 5 to 10 minute walk of shops, sights and restaurants. Our host, Vivienne, was incredibly pleasant and helpful. A wonderful experince all round!

We enjoyed this house...it's nicely decorated, has comfortable beds and a cozy family room. There's a bathroom for each bedroom. It's 4 stories so there are stairs to climb. It's close to town once you figure out your way around. Nearby pay parking is available.

Excellent stay in Beaune
We very much enjoyed our stay in Beaune at Vivienne’s lovely town home. It was located in a quiet residential street in the downtown area. Clean and modern. Note that the house is on 4 levels, in case you have any difficulty with stairs. It does have two full bathrooms. Vivienne was very accommodating and flexible since we had some small adjustment to our travel schedule. We heartily recommend the rental. Thanks, Vivienne. Nice meeting you!

A Three-Night Stay in Beaune
This property is very well kept and manicured. Wonderful smell of clean bed sheets (sorry that is important to me). All kitchen necessities available for a short term, although we did not cook as the food in Beaune is to die for...and the wine... The one thing I would caution anyone with physical restrictions, the apartment is on 4 floors. From the pictures in the add, the layout was not clear to us that the second bedroom is actually on the third floor with the second bath, and the living room way up on the fourth floor. We enjoyed the exercise opportunity ! Loved the rental and would rent again.

Beaune is a beautiful small historic city and a great base for exploring the surrounding towns and vineyards. This home is a very affordable place for a small family or two couples, with each bedroom having its own bathroom. The owner is very responsive and the home has all you need for a comfortable stay.

A Perfect Spot
We ventured to Beaune to enjoy several days of wine tours and tastings in Burgundy. Vivienne Holiday's property was everything we could have hoped for as our base for explorations: comfortable, well-appointed, tastefully decorated, conveniently located, and more books on wine than we could read in an entire year! We especially enjoyed meeting Vivienne in person, and her help was instrumental in finding our way around town (and finding free on-street parking in the neighborhood). She also was extremely gracious in allowing us a few hours' extension of our departure time to overcome some last-minute logistical problems that arose.

This is a comfortable house in a quiet neighborhood with all Beaune’s attractions in easy walking distance. When the weather turned cold, we managed to turn on the heat easily. All the other utilities worked as you would expect in a newly-renovated house. Beds were comfortable and the kitchen well-equipped. Our host was attentive and answered messages quickly. The stylish décor added to the ambiance of our stay in a town of great atmosphere.

Perfect location, everything you need, very comfortable.
Great location to walk anywhere in Beaune. Very comfortable home with everything you need in a kitchen (including a washer). Beds / bedrooms are extremely comfortable, showers are great. Stayed 3 nites and Ouldsramsey have stayed much longer. While others had parking challenges, it was no problem at all for us.

A great hub for your stay in Beaune.
My wife and I spent several days in Beaune during June. The lovely apartment is very well equipped for your needs. The apartment is about a 10-minute walk from the train station. It is also a few minutes walk from central Beaune and the Hospices de Beaune. One of the highlights of our stay involved renting e-bikes from Bourgogne Randonnees. We were able to take a trip through the vast vineyards near Beaune and visit the towns of Pommard, Meurault and lunch at Santenay. I would highly recommend a stay at Vivienne and Charles lovely apartment.

The location of this property is perfect for visiting the area. Easy walk into town (2 blocks). Lots of things to do. Vivienne was there to meet us and offered great advice on things to see and things to do. The apartment was great and very well taken care of. Lots of room and everything you need in the kitchen. The only draw back was parking. You have to pay 5.20 Euros for the day.

The house is clean, comfortable and in a great location. We found parking out the front of the home each day...make sure you have coins for Euro 5-20 for the all day parking, the machines do not take notes and did not accept any of our cards. We were able to walk to everything, we loved our walk all through the vineyards. Vivienne was really easy to communicate with and has everything you will need in the house for a relaxed stay. A delightful stay at a beautiful property in central Beaune
A beautiful property within walking distance of anything that you may want to do or visit. Owner Vivienne Holliday was friendly and helpful. The interior design of the house, with the living room on the top floor, makes sense when you are actually there. It was as advertised, well-appoimted. Highlights included a visit to the Hospice and the Patriarche wine firm. We also had a very nice dinner, with friendly service, at Le Monge in the Rue Lorraine.

Wir waren im Frühjahr in Beaune. Das kleine Haus über vier Etagen ist ein perfektes Kleinod für Menschen, die es lieben ruhig aber dennoch zentral zu wohnen. Für uns war es perfekt! Die Vermieterin ist unglaublich nett und zuvorkommend. Sie hat uns sogar einmal besucht während des Aufenhaltes,um sich zu vergewissern, dass alles ok ist. Wir kommen gerne wieder, wenn dass nach meiner guten Bewertung überhaupt noch möglich ist und das Häuschen nun ständig ausgebucht sein wird ;-)

Mitten im Geschehen in einer tollen Stadt
Mitten im Zentrum, alles Gute fußläufig erreichbar ein super eingerichtetes Häuschen mit 2 Schlafzimmern, 2 Bädern, Wohnzimmer und großer Wohnküche über 3 Stockwerke. Parkplatz direkt anbei. Toll und vollständig eingerichtet, genügend Geschirr, Kochgeräte, Spül- und Waschmaschine, Gewürze, Spülutensilien und (Burgund !) genügend Weingläser. Alles topsauber, Wir haben es sehr genossen und sogar Freunde zum Essen einladen können. Vielen Dank an die Gastgebeerin !!
