"Not a great area but didn’t feel unsafe. Biggest complaint is the blinds. There is so much daylight and when we tried to go to bed it was completely bright in the room. Curtains aren’t long enough to block out any light so it looked like daytime while trying to go to bed. We stayed at other hotels in the area and didn’t have this problem. "Baymont Hotel was quiet and safe, away from any questionable areas of Anchorage yet, close to the airport with guaranteed transportation to and from the airport. My room was clean, had a lovely Bay window which I was able to sit, relax, drink hot tea and watch a moose down below in the woods across from the hotel. I highly recommend Baymont Inn by the airport and the cost to stay there is very reasonable. "
