in an effort to save energy, the hotel has decreased the number of lights in the room. And they have installed energy saving bulbs that throw very little light. As a result you stumble around the room hoping you don't bump into furniture that you don't see due to low light. Its very irritating that the closet is on an automatic light system. The light only opens when you open the door. While you're still fiddling with your clothes in the closet ,
the light goes off. the hotel needs to change that. It's very dissatisfying to the customer.
Great stay . I wished for coffee in the room but they had excellent coffee in the lobby .
Restaurant was top notch . Loved the menu including calories and protein etc .
Staff very good . They offered to open the art gallery up for me after they had closed it .
My wife and I stayed a Saturday night. The room (132X) was very nice, much larger than I thought it would be. Never heard any noise from any of the other rooms or the ice machine next door. The room had a huge window that give us a view of the surrounding downtown bldgs. Small sitting area, tons of pillows and a comfortable bed. Bath and shower were small but very clean and modern. Check in and check out were easy and the front desk gives you a card so that you can leave the ramp and return during your stay without getting charged each time. Would stay here again.
