"This was our second to the last stop on our 10 day trip in Portugal and it was one of the best. The staff was exemplary. The location was remote and peaceful. Our suite was the most luxurious of the trip with its beautiful views across the creek canyon to the forest Hills and onto the coast at Sesimbra. "It is a country house, run by a very nice accommodating family. They go out of their way to please you, and make you feel at home. It is a quite out of the way place, relaxed atmosphere. It was fine for us that were traveling to Lisbon, and needed a rest. I don’t recommend this place if you are looking fir beaches, or mountains. The Alentejo area is hot and dry."

"We really enjoyed our stay in the villa. Everything was provided as stated and it was comfortable and very clean. The area is very quiet, there is a small local shop that provides essentials and there are lots of local walks full of wildlife if you don't want to drive. It is a short drive from two towns where there are shops and restaurants and close to plenty of beautiful coastal areas to explore. "

"Wir haben hier eine wunderschöne Woche verbracht. Das Haus ist liebevoll und stilvoll eingerichtet, mit schönem Außenbereich und kleinem Pool. Die Lage ist sehr ruhig. Die Strände in der Nähe sind wirklich schön und auch für Kinder geeignet. Für Strandbesuche und alle Besorgungen ist allerdings ein Auto nötig. Uns hat es sehr gut gefallen. Bruno war ein sehr angenehmer und hilfreicher Gastgeber!"

"We enjoyed staying at this home and made plenty of use of the pool & other facilities. It was well equipped to keep occupied & alfresco dining. The home is in a secluded location and provided a quiet, peaceful and private time. There were a few downsides to the property however. It was very difficult to find - it may help to provide photos showing sites you’ll pass if heading in the right direction. Gloriously Romantic Stay at Serenada
"This was our second to the last stop on our 10 day trip in Portugal and it was one of the best. The staff was exemplary. The location was remote and peaceful. Our suite was the most luxurious of the trip with its beautiful views across the creek canyon to the forest Hills and onto the coast at Sesimbra. They provide one complementary glass of wine and with that we ordered an afternoon snack, expressing our interest in salad. We got a large fresh, delicious, healthy salad to split between us. So good! They have a set meal in town, which was not something we wanted that night, so we ate in town. We both wish that the offering was something to our liking, but we fully understand with the limited staff. Those guests who did stay for the meal seemed to have an excellent meal. The complementary breakfast in the morning was also delicious. This is one of the few visits where we wished we were able to stay a second night, and if it were a little warmer, we would have jumped in the pool, which looks out over the vineyards. It is a stunning property run by an efficient competent staff."
