NH Barcelona Santa review The Good Great location , close to the metro station. Nice taco place exactly opposite to hotel for late dinner. 2 cafes close by if you want to save money by not eating breakfast buffet at hotel which seemed pricy at 18 euros per person. Needs Improvement Rooms were small. Since this was rated as a 4 star property, we were expecting it to be better than NH Madrid Ventas but it was in the same class/category. Thin walls - we could hear cleaning crew in the hallway in early morning.

Overall stay was satisfactory. Upon checking in, male behind desk appeared to much trouble to inform us of any of the hotels facilities. When another guest came out of lift, receptionist left us half way through checking in, to deal with other guest without any explanation . Thought this was rude. Had to ask on a number of occasions for more milks etc. Only 2 left normally.

Staff is friendly and helpful. Though, rooms are cleaned only late in the day, and sometimes not everyday because staff to clean rooms is scarce.

The room was much smaller than the one indicated on the image. It was on the first floor right behind the lights. Loud & the bathroom was leaking - we had a massive water puddle in the bathroom all throughout our stay . I’ve often stayed with NH hotels all over Europe and have consistently been happy. I am wondering whether booking through Expedia got us this terrible room.

I booked a wheelchair accessible room, however the room was not available. The staff ended up upgrading the room to a bigger room, however the bathroom was not very accessible. The staff were very polite and helpful and allowed us to check in one hour before our actual check in. The room was very nice and everything was truly top notch. I would have given this hotel a 5 star review if not for the accessibility in the bathroom, which was quite difficult to use. We were only in the hotel for one night so it was okay, but if we were going to stay longer, I likely would have needed another room.

It is a good potentialshall property. We had 2 same rooms for 4 nueghts. One were better than the other ( for no resones). The recipshein staff notify the floor class but the problems came bach and forth( missing bathrobe, coffee glasses that were not refresh, not giving the bar-card as promised). The bathroom is great. And the recipshein staff is kind and welcoming. The hotel location is good.

Excellent hotel!
5* hotel in my opinion. Booked a superior room, up graded to a junior suite on the 8th floor. Beautiful room, huge deck with retractable awning two Chaise lounges with a sectional and coffee table, just fantastic. Close to transit, shopping and Barcelona Sants train station.

The hotel is in a convenient location. Many public transportations are available. Albeit the room is a bit small, it’s clean with all the supplies. Not needing room tidy up would earn a drink voucher. Recommended.

If you want to sleep at night in a clean bed dont stay in this hotel. Expedia was very bad in treating my complaint and did not help at all. I reserved a superior room and got a dirty noisy box instead

Staff was very friendly and hotel was small but clean and elegant. In a good area for walking but still not too busy at the hotel which was nice to come back to.

We would stay here again. Easy access to transportation and neighborhood eateries. Staff is super nice. Only negative was that our room had a small window to the “air shaft” and can feel confining if we stayed in the room for awhile during the day.
