Good location, helpful staff. Good WiFi Loud noise if window is open. Some nights lout noise from other guest, but bearable. Torn chair,, fabric on chair is old. AC not working, could not get it to blow. A fan would be nice. No exhaust in bathroom!!! Floors in the room need a good cleaning/moping. turned my feet black. Cable was pathetic, most channels like CNN or other don't work. Wish I had more news and movies.

No house keeping during my 4 night stay, very noisy. Bell chimes every 15 minutes, metro trembling the building and vagabonds screaming early in the morning. I recommend only if you want to be central to Barcelona.

Despite its great location, the hotel lacks in management skills. The rooftop bar is noisy, with the added annoyance of a nearby water pump generating unpleasant mechanical sounds. Customers using the rooftop frequently traverse to the third floor restroom, resulting in overall noise disturbances across all levels. During my stay, the heater was malfunctioning, and I was provided only one damp extra blanket. The coffee maker was inconveniently placed, making it nearly impossible to use, and the faulty door handle on the window exacerbated street noise. Communication with management was hindered by their limited English proficiency. Given the chance, I would opt for a quieter hotel, even if it means sacrificing proximity.

The room was nice and clean, and the location was perfect. Plenty of shops around and the grocery store was right across the Hotel so that was very convenient. Plus they had Security before you enter the building so I felt very safe. Enjoyed my stay and I will book again in the future.

Location was excellent, right in the middle of La Ramblas with several train and bus stations nearby, and variety of food and shopping choices, all within walking distance. However, because we were Asians ( I can't think of any other sensible reason), we were initially given a room where the TV remote doesn't work, the lights were dim and you had to pay for daily cleaning. We were too tired to say anything so we took the room, at least it was peaceful and quiet. What took the cake for us was the presence of roaches in the room! We marched straight to the reception and basically told them this was the first time I had stayed in a hotel, Citadines no less, that had roaches. Guess what? We were given another room in the newer wing where EVERYTHING works and it was such a bright clean room compared to the dark, dingy corner room we were given earlier. Reception did not even apologise when we told him about the roaches, only upon checking out did they ask about our stay. We're not the kind of guests that usually cause any problem with unreasonable demands & complaints; we would have probably continued to stay in the first room if not for the roaches. So, Asians and non-European travellers, please beware this double standards that's still being practised in some places. It's so unethical.

Easily accessible and close by shuttle to/from airport just took A1 bus from the terminal and it dropped me 5 minutes from the hotel. The only draw back is not having a double bed they had only 2 single beds despite the fact that we requested a double bed ahead. They also offer room cleaning but for a few. The property is clean and close to all shopping centers and all restaurants. Facing the hotel is a grocery shopping place. Staff were welcoming.

Excellent accommodation!
Citadines Rambla was an excellent choice. It was so very central and the apartment was spotlessly clean and comfortable. The staff were really accommodating and friendly. We didn’t have breakfast there so can’t comment on this. Overall, we really enjoyed our short 4 night stay and would definitely use again if we came back to Barcelona.

Excellent Stay
Our room was spacious and clean. As there were just the two of us I told them we did not need the room cleaned during our stay. Just fresh towels which they exchanged whenever I requested some. There was always someone available to ask questions of and there was never a language problem (I speak only English) Really liked the area and always felt safe. There is a grocery store just across the street of Las Ramblas. I think you could have gotten what ever you wanted to prepare meals in the studio with the stove if you wanted. (we didn't use this stove but did you use the fridge and microwave) There were some utensils, pots, pans, and dishes in the room.

Beautiful location, very central. Market is a short walk away, beach about 25 mins walk, Right in the heart of the Gothic Quarters. Nice rooms, helpful staff, coffee in the lobby was great. The view from the terrace was amazing. So much to do and see. We loved it.

Frank at the front desk was the best. He went out of his way, and above and beyond the call of duty, to help us with several things. He made out stay a real pleasure. Room was very nice.

Great location in Las Rambas. The staff isn’t very warm or friendly. Didn’t realize my dates were booked incorrectly. I had to pay for a night I didn’t use. No effort made to make a room available for the extra night I needed. That was the nicest thing they did. My last night in Barcelona at another hotel was heaven. The room I was given was big but felt dirty. I threw away the socks I wore in the room. The laminate floor in the bedroom and the tile in the kitchen needed to be steam cleaned. I never got fresh towels or had my bed made. If you want to be close to shopping and La Boqueria I his is you place. For US visitors think Days Inn in a downtown city. Best part of my visit here was checking out.

Quiet and comfortable
Very clean and comfortable. I especially liked the fact that you could get coffee, water etc from the machine downstairs 24 hours a day. Very centrally located yet quiet, once you turned the corner from La Rambla and entered the hotel. Soundproof rooms.

we had a great stay here! Highly recommend to everyone! Everything is super walkable and near bus stops that lead directly to the airport. Close to all main attractions, essentials, shopping and grocery. Loved that there was a coffee machine and water / ice machine available for use! Plus we had the best view of Barcelona from our hotel room! 10/10!
