The barroom downstairs has a good selection of drinks and there are bar billiards tables. Just be aware there is no lift so stairs to rooms must be managed. After a good nights sleep breakfast awaits exactly as you ordered it"

"We had a lovely stay here! The property is beautiful, spacious, and offers amazing views. It’s also conveniently located,just a 20-minute drive to Llanberis. The host was fantastic, with great communication throughout our stay, and they left a thoughtful welcome pack with tea, coffee, wine, cakes, and more, which was a really nice touch. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to others!"

Street parking available but you might struggle to find space on the same street during busy periods. Great communication by host. No problem at all during stay. Fab location. Within walking distance to pubs/takeaways. Great base for visiting attractions on Ynys Mon and northwest Wales. Would book again. Reasonably priced."

"If you want to keep an eye on the Snowdon Mountain Railway or be close to the beginning of the Llanberis path up Mt. Snowdon, this is the place to be. And, if its raining and cold, you'll be content to eat at the Hotel's pub. There's a short walk through the woods to Dolbadarn Castle which is, yes, a castle in Wales, and very picturesque. Breakfast is adequate- an arrival of multiple coaches may have you relocated to a smaller dining room which happened to us, but then we were not on anyone else's schedule so all was satisfactory. The hotel is convenient to local bus service and an easy walk into town for more stores, outfitters and restaurants. Staying in this Hotel gives you a connection to Snowdon's past as it has been present in some form for nearly 200 years on the site. Stay there, eat a healthy breakfast and begin your ascent. What's wrong with that?"

"Lovely hotel in excellent position. Staff were great and very useful having its own parking. Our only disappointment was the food . Was ok but expected higher standard for both evening meal and breakfast. Was not expecting it to be a self service breakfast which we really don’t like Overall though we had a very enjoyable stay"
