It all works. Check-in straightforward. Parking very easy. Lifts work. Everything in the room works. Reasonable level of lighting. Air con fully adjustable and quiet. Hot water is hot. Only slight downsides - shower rather small and cramped; only two internet connections permitted per room - in the modern world we all have multiple devices 6 is really the minimum number needed per room.

I was disappointed because the facilities listed were NOT available. The Spa and Fitness were NOT available, and although I recognize covid has changed things this should be reflected in the description of the property because after a long journey I was looking forward to a spa session.

The beautiful garden around the hotel and hotel lobby and friendly staffs. What I don't like is the breakfast purchased with the room is not impressed and it has been organised separately from the other coffee shop in the lobby area. I feel it is second grade breaky. Also, a young female staff could not understand a simple English question from my husband that I had to translate for her. Over all is not bad..

I stayed previously and loved it but was disappointed with my most recent stay! Bed extremely comfortable and welcoming staff. Breakfast choices, although bared was odd, no bacon. Chef unable to fry an egg. Swimming pool on previous visits was fantastic. But this time was a cloudy green colour. Massive hotel but no one brave enough to chance a swim. Poor value for price I’m afraid to say.

The male staff at the Sport Complex was rude!! He came in while I was still working out and told me to wear my shirt when I am wearing my sports bra!

What was good: Hotel room design was updated, furnishings were mainly new, I could tell the room has been renovated. What was bad: 1) Lift landings and area outside room was dated, carpet and lightings look old and dusty. 2) Toilet design was dated, shower cubicle was small, and shower head was bad. Water was just warm, but could not get it to be hot enough in the morning. 3) Also, some areas in the lobby had mosquitos.

The good : Great Swimming Pool, Well maintained gym equipment, Tennis court. Great for fitness activity. Beautiful Landscape. The bad : No ironing board. No microwave. Not enough space for clothes. No lock in bathroom door. No carpet.

For Thailand, the price I paid was rather steep. And for that price I would expect complimentary buffet breakfast. But the hotel added little extra fees for almost everything. Extra for breakfast, expensive but simple meal at dinner, overpriced cheap wine,.... 20 Baht for a comb, 30 Baht for a razor, 40 baht for a nail file. Ridiculous. And far off the beaten path so no other options available. An older building but well maintained. ************ MIND YOU - the staff were VERY friendly and helpful. *************** By the way , I live in Thailand (15 years) and have a Thai wife , so I have a good idea of what the prices SHOULD be

Location........
An older hotel that is very difficult to get to and to leave from. It is just off the arterial routes to city and Don Meuang airport. be aware that this hotel caters for huge numbers of Chinese travellers who descend in coach loads. Makes for interesting times at breakfast and checkin and checkout if you are a solo traveller of other than Chinese origin, who is neither pushy, loud nor rude. Good swimming pool, adequate fitness centre so not bad overall, apart from location and access.

This hotel was quite far from the city and rather outdated. The lobby pillars while looking down from second and third floors were covered in dust and used very out dated decorations throughout. Hotel hallways smelled musty and were warm along with the lobby. Not pleasant considering Bangkok is a very hot city. The room was decent, large comfortable bed and a nice size room, but the wifi in the rooms were HORRIBLE. This is 2017, a hotel of that size shouldn't have horrible wifi, and the selective higher options is not only an outdated system, but it didn't even work. The staff were clueless on how to help. The bathroom at my hotel also had little hairs stuck to the tiles in the shower from previous guests. The breakfast buffet was nice, the dinner buffet, however, was terribly over priced with dry watery food and not many good options. Room service was a good choice with delicious green curry and chocolate truffle cakes. The wait staff, room service staff and cleaning staff were kind. Reception weren't very helpful or warm to catering clients needs, regarding wifi or other issues, however check in and out were very easy. The concierge was incredibly useless, barely being able to speak english and offered no help when a taxi tried to rip me off from the city. My friend ended up having to report the taxi, a job for the hotel to do. The best part of this hotel was the pool, warm, large and very clean. I will not stay here again, instead I will be taking business to Shangri La.

Nice Hotel but remote from amenities
This is a rather odd hotel. Initially appears dated and a little eccentric, with a grand Foyer complete with enormous indoor water feature and 1980s suspended cluster lighting. However the rooms have been modernised in a Thai contemporary style and are comfortable and modern. Extremely comfortable bed. Excellent swimming pool. Delicious buffet breakfast, beautiful garden setting and surroundings. The only downside is that the hotel is quite remote from amenities (it is a good 15 minute walk to the nearest convenience store -Family Mart for non-hotel provisions). The hotel runs a free shuttle service to attractions, malls etc. But during my stay I was not aware as this is not well advertised. Free late check - out. Overall a lovely hotel, happy yo stay there again in the future.
