Komaneka brand is one of the best luxury hotel brands in Bali. This is our second stay at Tanggayuda in last couple of years and we really like the comfort and personalisation given to us during our stays. We requested to have Indian food selection at breakfast and the team at Komaneka were very accommodating, every staff at the restaurant knew the food preference and name of the family members. So much detail in service level is exceptional. Special thanks to Litsya (front desk) and Ngakan (chef) which made our stay with our parents memorable, we will definitely stay at the hotel again in Ubud. My only recommendation will be to add few child friendly activities other than draw and paint, maybe a small play area or toys for children of all ages should help keep the little ones busy.

This place is a 5 star resort. Its beautiful. Some construction while we were there but otherwise very quiet & peaceful. Very comfortable with all the mod cons. It only gets 4 stars though due to the restaurant being very basic. Its a long way into town but eating in the resorts restaurant more than once is not really an inspiring option. Breakfast is pretty good actually but dinner was pretty much 2 star dinning.

Gorgeous and serene jungle view
We had a wonderful 4 day stay in a premium pool villa (108) facing the jungle. Great sized villa, good food, prompt service. My only comment was the water temperature in our pool villa was a tad cool - it was a bracing moment every time we got in. It was nice to be 10 mins drive outside the hustle and bustle of Ubud town centre. Komaneka has a regular shuttle service every 2 hours into town and we used it often.

Hotel Paradise
Komaneka is amazing. Top tier service. Top tier value. Top tier room. Top tier property. We planned our stay in Ubud to get some rest and peace. Komaneka was the perfect place. Our private plunge pool, jungle views, and property amenities made this a 12/10. Service was impeccable. The concierge team remembered requests we made even after my wife and I forgot we had even inquired. They whole team made us feel like family. The breakfast poolside and at the restaurant were delicious. And when we wanted to go into town, the shuttle service was perfect. It dropped us off right in front of the monkey Forrest or the restaurant we wanted and had a convienent pick up at the downtown Ubud Komaneka. We will be coming back anytime we stay in Ubud.

The staff is absolutely amazing! Very thankful to them but the property is NOT a five star hotel. I understand that it’s in a humid climate so upkeep is hard but starting with the towels and robes, please replace them. It’s kind of unpleasant to wipe with a towel that is grayish color and put on a robe that looks like it’s 10 yrs old. There were threads coming out of it and was also gray color. Our room shower was having issues and outdoor shower didn’t have cold water but that wasn’t a problem. For indoor shower we had to adjust it for good 3-4 min because it wasn’t running correctly. If I paid less for this hotel I would be submitting a really nice review but paying $400/night in Bali (which is a lot) I’d expect to get what I paid for or at least transfer me to a room with no issues. If I could leave a review for the staff, it would be 7 out of 5, that’s how much we liked them.

Beautiful hotel in the jungle. Very well maintained grounds. Friendly and helpful service always. Loved our villa with private pool. Free shuttle was very convenient since hotel is not in the center of town. Note that hotel is not accessible. There are no elevators and some staircases had no handrails, which can make navigating the stairs unsafe for older guests. Was not pleased that the hotel was trying to collect payment several days prior to our stay. Told me that full payment was due 14 days prior to arrival to guarantee booking. Expedia booking stated that payment would be collected on arrival.

This was a wonderful place to start our holiday. The staff were very friendly and went out of their way to make sure we were always happy. It was a little bit out of town but with all the time in the world and easy access to comfortable transport this was not an issue.

This place is heaven!!! We stayed 3 nights and I wish we would have stayed longer. We had a villa with pool and view of the jungle and it was incredible. UBud was my favourite place in Bali. The Komeneka staff was so helpful, and the shuttle to and from the hotel to downtown UBud was very simple and appreciated. The breakfast included was delicious and more then we expected. I would go back to this hotel in a heartbeat! It’s one of my favourites ever! If you’re thinking about it! Just do it!

It was a quiet resort in the woods so we can relax ourselves. they have shuttle vehicle to take you to ubud centre which is very convenient.

Our stay at Komaneka at Tanggayuda was spectacular. The room was amazing and came with an awesome view of the jungle. The service and staff were excellent, and went above and beyond for all of our needs. We had absolutely zero complaints. It was a perfect start to our honeymoon. This is definitely the place to stay if you want to spend time around Ubud without being in the middle of the busy streets and noisy motorbikes.

This is a fantastic hotel. The staff a very welcoming and the whole place have such a relaxing vibe . The breakfast location looks out over a great jungle setting, and the food was excellent.

An absolute must
Absolutely wonderful from the time of arrival. The hotel is even more beautiful than pictures. It is nice to be secluded but yet still close to the town. Staff is top notch and miss them already. Communication prior to arrival was great and set up all our transfers. Food is delicious, breakfast included. Highly suggest the day trips.

Impeccable service from start to finish
Service from the staff was impeccable! Really great attention to detail from arrival to departure. Having been to many hotels around the world this is definitely number 1 for service and hence the highest rating. Only a few things, we got a pool villa but the pool was way colder than the normal pools near the restaurant. It was too cold to use but luckily they have an amazing large shared pool and heated pool to use. Secondly, the room although lovely, can do with an update such as wiring so you can switch off lights with a single switch, and more sockets near the bed for phone/camera charging. Finally, maybe hourly shuttle would be better than every 2 hourly. Esp given that ubud city is where you would want to go for most of the days there.

Best hotel experience of my life! Never been so welcomed and pampered. Luxury, beauty, peace, privacy and amazing views--perfect! Loved everything about our stay - wish we stayed longer than three days. Note: They offer a free shuttle back and forth into downtown which was perfect for us

Hidden treasure
The hotel is a bit out in the middle of nowhere but its very nice. Surrounded by lots of trees and nature. The pools are very lovely as well. Everything is so private, speaking of private. You get your very own pool in each villa. The room is very spacious and comfortable. The air conditioning is cold and makes the room feel crisp. The only complaint I have is that the lighting in the bathroom was a bit dim, the lights need to be replaced with brighter bulbs. Overall we had a great stay. The staff (Febi) was super nice and helpful, I would recommend.

Overall the experience was ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC! The hotel grounds were extremely well-maintained, the staff were among some of the friendliest people we’ve ever met, and views of the jungle were incredible. The room was beautiful with tropical decor and the impressive views of the jungle from the second-story royal pool villa speak for themselves. The room had a secluded outdoor shower which allowed a fun way to experience nature every day. Food at the on-site restaurant was excellent, presented a great selection, the staff were extraordinarily attentive, and accommodated any special requests feasible. I highly recommend the Soto Ayam soup for lunch and for breakfast, the multiple courses with fresh-baked croissants (regular and chocolate-filled), various fresh fruit jams, tableside tea or French-press coffee, and Balinese dish main course selections were all extremely delicious. Afternoon tea/coffee and Balinese pastries were a wonderful touch and gave us an opportunity to experience some of the unique Balinese fruits and flavors. We give this place our highest rating possible for the unforgettable experience and look forward to returning in the future!
