"Le Lappe is the perfect escape in the stunning Chianti. Suites are equipped with fireplace and hot tub, furbished in cozy and warming country style. I loved every moment I spent in this place, especially the breakfast in the amazing winter garden, a real jewel. Dinner was also outstanding, my compliments to all the chefs for the menu and to all the staff for their kindness and professionalism. Keep it up!"

Gittori, Gaiole in Chianti, Siena and Chianti

Family of four at Gittori

"We are a family of four (kids aged 12 & 11) and stayed at Gittori in August 2023. Overall, a fantastic experience. The property is very well equipped throughout including very good air conditioning. Probably the highlight is the large pool which was much bigger than you normally get. The water was very pleasantly warm and the kids played in it for hours each day. A real selling point. The views from the terrace were very expansive and we often ate outside. We used the bbq twice which was very robust and again, well equipped. The property is located near the village of Gaiole in Chianti. It is up a steep hill which is walkable but quite a bit of effort coming back up. Not really a problem for us as we had a car (which you do need really). Within Gaiole are a number of very nice restaurants so plenty of options for dinner. The property is managed by Lorenzo who lives in a house nearby but does not in any way encroach on Gittori. Lorenzo was extremely helpful and friendly…a very nice guy. We would definitely definitely recommend this villa. A true Tuscan experience in a very comfortable setting."

Villa With Private Pool In The Heart Of The Chianti Region

Definitely stay here!

"We had the most fabulous time! There were 8 of us- my husband and I and our 3 young adult children and their partners. The villa is spectacular and well appointed. We loved the pool- it was so refreshing! The seating under the oak tree was our favorite. Coffee in am and wine in pm. We had private chefs come 2 evenings- Il fiasco and le duo cuochine. Both outstanding and recommended by Ilaria. Amazing to eat at the beautiful table outside. We even stayed in and cooked one night. The town is about a mile walk or a quick drive. We loved the wine bars and ate at a few restaurants. Loved them all. Market in town for all supplies. It was warm when we were there but were never hot in villa fans worked great. The villa is so special we even canceled some tours as we all just enjoyed being there together swimming, playing games and taking in the views! Gaiole is wonderful. We hiked at Castello Meleto (do the 5k version), rented ebikes and rode 40 miles around the small towns. Lots of wine tasting. We cried when we had to leave. Such a special place!"
