Pros: * Even the most basic room is very functional: desk and ergonomic chair for computer work, mini-fridge, microwave, couch, comfortable bed * The suite is slightly bigger but I didn't see the advantage vs. the basic room. Not really worth the price unless you want some semi-privacy between the couch and the bed (the suite has a divider, regular rooms do not) * Basic breakfast until 9am: microwaveable burritos and biscuits, hard boiled eggs, milk and cereal, apples, oranges, coffee, juice * Very helpful staff (held onto my luggage, received packages, printed labels, extended my reservation several times) * Nice quiet park to walk or jog in, 3 minutes away by foot (the MetCenter Hike & Bike trail) * Small fitness room with 3 cardio machines * $8 shuttle service to the airport, plus free pickup from the airport * The elevator now works Cons: * The WiFi was extremely fast in the lobby, but on the 3rd floor - unstable, and would disconnect briefly several times per hour. Like most other hotels, WiFi also kicks you out 2 times a day, and you have to login (with the same password). I don't really get the point of this, and if the logout happens during a video call, you're screwed until you reconnect 💥, OR if you're on your phone, it goes on data and chews up bandwidth to handle the video. Microtel, please stop this dumb practice. * The TV's WiFi worked only on day one (so other devices could connect and cast to it), and never since then. * Not the thickest walls, but quiet

The elevator was out and we had heavy bags from an international trip. I was told there was an airport shuttle and in fact had to get an Uber after taking my bags down the stairs at 5 am. No adjustment of the room rate was made. All very disappointing

The hotel is clean and the staff are polite, the problem was that the elevator was not working and we were placed on room 101 and we could not sleep with the door noice banding all night and customers going to the second floor.

Loved this modern hotel. Breakfast is prepackaged heat up food, yogurt, fruit, cereal, bagels, muffins, juice, coffee, pancakes. Food is average but ok. Loved the staff and beds were comfortable.

Walls are thin and the mattresses could be more comfy (they’re pretty stiff) but the parking lot was not a heavily trafficked area like some hotels in Austin and the service desk takes down car vehicle info to keep people who aren’t hotel guests out of the parking lot. Safe environment.

Hello sir, Apologies if you had issues operating the bath faucet handle, sometimes the handle operation can be a bit different at hotels, than what you are use to.What you may have perceived to be the handle orientation for hot water, may actually been inadvertently set to cold, as we verified all hot water in property was correctly working and adequate during the time of your stay.We apologize again for the misunderstanding.

Terrible experience! Walked in to dirty towels in the bathtub, trash and liquid gunk in the ice bucket and some sort of wet, colorful gunk on the carpet, staining our socks. Was told by staff we could check out (it was after 9 pm and we had traveled all day) and get a full refund or suck it up! We were treated like we were making it all up, really did not appreciate the staff’s attitude, very argumentative. We were told that a quality check had been done, there’s no way that happened! Will never, ever darken a Sleep Inn’s door again!

Hello Michele,Thank you for the review and alerting us to unauthorized persons in our parking lot, certainly a problem we take seriously and have enforced strict guidelines against, along with area security we will rectify any future issues.As for the breakfast mam, we apologize you felt our breakfast options were limited, we do try to keep a full spread, such as 3 types of cereal, 3 types of muffins and bagels, toast, hard boiled eggs, breakfast sandwiches and tacos, apples, yogurt, etc. this a a full continental breakfast.Thank you for the feedback.
