a very pleasing stay motel room nice with everything we needed comfortable bed , shower nice , staff very friendly ,helpful and easy parking just to the side of motel .

Rydges was great, they had comfortable King sized beds, cold air conditioning, and friendly staff. The free wireless internet was slow, but I was too cheap to upgrade to the pay service. I would visit again.

Other than a problem I had with the concierge team, the hotel itself was FANTASTIC! They kindly let me check in very early as I had just arrived off a 13-hour flight. Beautiful room! High quality products in room with a comfy bed and cool modern bathroom. Outstanding value through Expedia. Substantially better than the Crowne and Mercure hotels in Auckland.

“Rydges is a great hotel”

We were very tired on arrival and staff were very helpful to make sure we got to our room quickly. The staff were great at giving advice on things to do in Auckland, and how to get around, etc.

“Great value and great service”

Comfortable and large room with a huge bed. Service was great, especially being able to check in at 8:30am. Close to the convention centre, and a whole lot cheaper.

“Convenient and very accessible”

The hotel was centrally located and was conveniently located near the heart of city and the wharf area. Everything was within walking distance or bus connections. The vehicle valet service was also a great service. Overall we were pleased with the hotel. Only, one complaint, however, is that we never got our phone messages even though the lights were blinking on the phone and on the TV. When we called the desk, they indicated we had no messages. We had missed some very important Stateside calls from California. Magically, the next day, the tv monitor indicated that we had several calls (however the message was now a day late).

“Great Hotel”

Everything about this hotel was outstanding. The staff was warm, friendly and very helpful. The room was large, clean and comfortable. The bed was very comfortable. The hotel staff graciously helped arrange tours and reservations for us. We didn't eat at the hotel as their restaurant seemed overpriced, but there are many dining choices close by.

Found it easy to get around to the Skytower and harbour tours. Staff were great. Would definitely stay there again.
