overall needs clean but clean sheets towels
Very run down and windows walls in need of a good clean and some repairs. However the sheets were clean and a comfortable bed. Towels were clean and fresh packets of soap shampoo. I couldn't get the shower to run hot but did not have time in the morning to ask for help. Shwer itself was clean.

As soon as I saw the condition of this place I left immediately. Disgusting. It smelt like a rubbish tip, there was rubbish left in the living area. The couches and carpet were dirty. The office was messy. Dirty Windows and unkempt grounds. Wotif shouldn't advertise this place. How do I go about a refund?

this was the dirtiest and filthiest place i have ever seen. i dont know how this place can be advertised for vacancies. someone needs to do a thorough review of this property. i would like our money back

We arrived at Lincoln Court Motel Auckland, on the 2 November'23 to take up the booking. We looked at the unit allocated. It was dirty, dark and damp. The lighting was old looking unsafe. The kitchen had an unsavoury looking cleaning cloth and no plug for the sink. The exterior of the accommodation unit looked the same as all the other units- overgrown, run-down and potentially unsafe. We told the proprietor we could not stay and would find other accommodation. He said, 'I haven't taken payment, you'll need to contact Expedia.' However we find that the proprietor or Expedia had deducted payment from our account on the 1 November, the day before we were due to arrive.

i have stayed in better tents. holes in the wall, drawings on walls, uncomfortable chairs, broken shower dirty crockery left over pies and noodles , rust in basins, undesirable toilet, from the last resident in the fridge, apart from that, what, me worry?

The building was very old, wasn't very clean, the microwave was dirty and had rice in it, generally looked very run down and lots of stuff around outside. The driveway was half blocked by parked cars making it difficult to drive in and out. But the bed and towels were clean and it was a quiet night.

I’m sorry but I have to warn others not to stay there. I was the only person who booked and he handed a key for 5people room and it smelt very strong cat smells. When I asked for a smaller room it smelt like air spray to try kill the awful stale smells which made it worse. I ran for the hills sorry. Couldn’t bare to even touch the bed let alone lie on it. The owner actually seemed surprised to even have a booking. Wotif you are doing a bad disservice to people needing accommodation but this place is not habitable. No hygiene, no love or care by the owner.

Do not stay there, I would not put my animals into this property. We checked out 5 mins after we checked in. The smell in this room was overpowering and we had a headache within a couple of minutes, the stove top was disgusting, there were holes in the walls and mold everywhere. The bedcover had smoke burns and the bathroom door would not close.

Very disappointing
Reception was untidy and the gentleman unwelcoming. The fixtures and fittings were dirty and the shower dripped continually. Window locks were hanging on by a thread and not secure. Outside lighting was poor so it was dark and did not feel safe for a woman alone. The room smelt awful. I left and moved down the road to another motel, rather than spend the night at Lincoln Court.

Hygiene is unknown at this property. Extremely run down. Dirty dishes in my room on arrival. Underwear in the oven on arrival. Holes in walls, doors missing. Had to go out and purchase cleaning stuff so I could touch things. Toilet cistern dripped night and day. Mold on all bathroom surfaces. Couch with no padding, had to put bed pillows on it to avoid sitting on the wooden frame. Worst place I have ever stayed. Booked online and was charged more as the motel looses a percentage to the online booking system. Absolutely disgusting business. Do not go here!
