“Great value”

After staying many places in NZ, I finished my holiday staying here. What a pleasant surprise--my apartment was huge. It was modern, it was smart and excellant value for money. Easy access to Queen Street... I would stay here again and would recommend it.

“Lifetime Experience”

These service apartments were excellent value for money and with an apartment up on one of the highest floors we had a great view of the Auckland Sky Tower and were able to watch the Sky Jumpers and Walkers (which we then dared to do ourselves!!) Others reviews mention parking and location but there is parking available under the apartments and the hotel entrance is actually on White Street (literally as you come to end of Turner St turn left and the reception is on the left). Hotel was about 5-10 minutes walk from the harbour and sky centre and being just off Queen Street it really was not far from anything

“Good room and well positionned is what I wanted: I had it”

The room was larger than I expected and perfect for my needs. There is small kitchen which saves you on looking for breakfast and a balcony to stay a bit out. And the shower was really good (I know it doesn't sound like much, but that matters to me: I had too often dodgy showers in hotels to now really care). The immediate surrounding of the hotel is not that great, but well, you don't travel to stay in your room, do you? The location is very good as it is in central Auckland and it doesn't take much of a walk to be wherever you want to be or to get to the central transport hub for trains, bus and ferries. It is also very close to the bus line that goes to the Airport which is always a plus when you don't like spending too much time with your luggages. The onl;y things that could be improve is to have a proper room to leve your luggage as it is a bit unsettling to put your bags in an actual office, having to apologise to the staff attempting to work...

“Excellent value for money”

The hotel is in an excellent location for viewing Auckland, although there was no view to write home about from the apartment itself and the roads in the immediate vicinity are a little shabby. We are quite fit and energetic and found we could walk to just about everywhere we wanted to go. There are plenty of good cafes, bars and restaurants nearby. Ideal for the Sky Tower and also ferries and buses, especially the airport bus which goes every 15 minutes during the day and stops just a couple of minutes' walk from the hotel. We had a studio apartment. It was not overly spacious but perfectly adequate for us. The kitchenette facilities were excellent. We even had our own dishwasher, clothes washer, tumble dryer, ironing board and iron, all in excellent condition. The shower room had grey tiles on the floor and pearlescent tiles beneath the mirror. Everything was clean and modern. Without exception, the staff were friendly and helpful and responded promptly to any queries we had.

“Very impressed”

A little trouble finding the aparthotel (even though we were parked about 50 yards away!!) None of the locals new where it was! Once in it was a joy, everything was so well organised right from the parking - advisable to book in advance- through to the take away meal we ordered on the second night. Would certainly go back, great value for the money.

“An excellent stay.”

We had a studio room for one night and were impressed with the rooms facilities for the price. We returned 5 days later for a 3 night stay in a superior standard 1 b/room aprtmt. I chose this room as it offered city and water views in the advertising, therefore it was a big and my only disappointment to find it is only the 2 b/room aprtments that have those views. The reception staff were fantastically helpful, rooms could not be faulted, everywhere was spotless, we had washing machine, dryer, dishwasher small oven, cooktop and microwave. The daily complimentary breakfast was fresh and plentiful. Oh yes, a small irk, in the one bedroom apartments the beds are two singles zipped together and if like me you like to cuddle up, you will be lying on the join. The studio room did have a normal queen bed. Overall a very nice and convenient place to stay.

“Pleasantly Surprised”

I called the hotel prior to arriving to request a room upgrade and was informed that I'd already been upgraded....just because. So that was a nice first surprise. The room was very comfortable, great bed, although the pillows were a little thin for my liking. 2x TVs, stereo, couch, full kitched (in the 1 room apt), it was clean, tidy and nice. Staff were friendly and willing to help. The parking fees are lower than most of the hotels in the area. I'd booked this place comparing expedia reviews of various hotels and it certainly paid off.
