Would not recommendPosted 17/10/2014
Receptionist totally rude and didn't care. Appalling service, even when I spoke to someone who said they were the manager, nothing changed. Checked out early and went elsewhere. Would not recommend.

Close to Auckland cdbPosted 17/10/2014
The room was damaged & the bed was only a single. The shower head had fallen off. When I told reception all they said was "we only work here". Never ever again.

Bianco on QueenPosted 16/10/2014
Pros: Right size and had everything we needed for the night.
Cons: The bed with no springs being felt., Having carparks available
Location: Location top of Queen St which is handy. Went for a concert at Vector arena, Maybe a little to far to walk to and back
King bed was 2 king singles put together, 1 side you could feel the springs, so not nice. No car parking available except for street parking in which you had to pay for as the accommodation was in the city. That was not made clear on the website. Only thing mentioned was self parking, which I did not take as street parking. Any limited car parks that Bianco had, you had to pay for. If you pay for accommodation city or not, a free car park should be available if you require one. I had food poisoning as well on the day we arrived in Auckland, we rung to see if we could check in 2 hrs earlier, but there was no leighway and had to check in at 2pm. So had to lay down uncomfortably in the car for 2hrs.

Average place to stayPosted 15/10/2014
This place has the makings to be an amazing hotel but fell short. Parking is ridiculous, jug didn't work, rooms have a washing machine and dryer which is great but it's ridiculously hard to use with instructions that were far too long. Check out process took about 20 minutes. Not a fan

Convienient to the city with full ammenities.Posted 14/10/2014
Pros: Practical, practical, practical. It has everything you need. Location, to Auckland city with onsite parking.
Cons: The lounge suites are uncomfortable as are the single lounger chairs. The beds could have toppers already on them for comfort.
Location: Central to restaurants, movies, casinos, bars and museum.
This motel has a full kitchen inclusive of a oven with a two element stove top. A full size fridge/ freezer is also available in the one bedroom suite with a separate lounge that we stayed in. Full kitchen utensils, microwave, dishwasher, clothes washer and dryer are also in the room. The beds are firm/hard but a request for a topper made that more bearable. The other down side is the increase in onsite parking fees with tight parking spaces. Although onsite parking does have internal access to the motel. There is alternative parking close by at cheaper rates if your prepared to move your vehicle or top up before 8 am. This motel has everything you need on site. Some of the rooms have Auckland views, some views are obscured but in general a comfortable motel.

Nice hotel close to Queen StreetPosted 13/10/2014
Pros: Closeness to all the action
Cons: The bed was a little hard
We booked last minute and were pleasently pleased with our room and surroundings.

Avoid this placePosted 13/10/2014
Pros: Proximity to University, K'Rd and Queen St
Can't recommend this place at all. It is unfriendly, (apart from housekeepers), grubby, the beds are hard, and my room smelled of mildew/mold. While its location is close to the Universities and Queen St, it is next to a large telecommunications building that buzzes continuously and the streets which surround the hotel feel dodgy. Plenty of better options out there, for less money.

Adequate apartments close to workPosted 02/10/2014
Pros: Close to work and value
Cons: See above coments
Location: Eateries, theatres, transport and shopping if inclined.
Value for money was fine, considering the apartments are becoming tired and in need of refurbishment. Apartment stocks need checking and keeping up to quantity and standard.
