My wife and I Drove from Arkansas with our 10yr and 6yr old daughters. Iknew we would make it late because our kids had school ,so i booked and paid for it in advance from 5/9/24-5/12/24,however when we made it around 2:30am i was i told our room was canceled because we didnt make it before 2am and was sold to someone else
La Quinta canceled my reservation without nocice because I did not arrive by 2:00am. My flight arrival was schedule for 1:28am. No where in their policy states that you must arrive by 2am.
We travel a lot and i understand busy seasons. I hate leaving bad reviews but I’d strongly recommend against this hotel. Upon arrival, the front attendants were unfriendly. We’ve never been to that hotel or Atlanta so we asked questions but they were annoyed. The room was dirty. Bugs. Dried blood on the comforter. The ac wasn’t working. The noise level was ridiculous. The carts to put your luggage on were so dirty. You get what you pay for I guess. I’d recommend staying elsewhere or waiting until the management upgrades their rooms, facility, and service. Also, it’s a good thing we had the lock on because at 8am the cleaning lady tried to come in. If check out is at noon, why to try and come in at 8am? Oh last thing: food was gross. Just save yourself the headache and book elsewhere.
I canceled my reservation and had a conversation with an Expedia representative due to the hotel not having the pool open as it was advertised. The Expedia representative was supposed to call the manager to confirm that the reservation was canceled but I was still charged for the day and wanted to get my refund.
