Office not open. Had to go to Ho Jo office. They did not have the rooms I had reserved. Did not seem to care. Finally got our rooms after showing them print out from Expedia. Had to beg them for towels. Floors filthy and gritty. No ice in ice machine. Had to get ice at Ho Jo. Will not stay there again. May not use Expedia again.

I am sorry for the inconvenience you had during your 3 nights stay with us. We have several signs that says check in for Super 8 is had Howard Johnson Inn. Both hotels are in the same parking lot. We are in the process of renovation and next week, we installing tiles in the ice machine area and a new ice machine. I wish you had come to us during your stay so that we could have taken care of the issues. Thank you for your feedback.

Room was absolutely horrendous it smells and cigarettes hole in bed sheets. Me and my partner had to leave and didn’t even stay more than 5 minutes got our money back and got another hotel

Room was awful. Poorly patched holes, sticky carpet. It was clean for the poor shape the room was in. Two poor quality pillows that provided little comfort and zero wifi when I got back Saturday night as well. Drunk people partying loudly in the parking lot and beside my room with public urinating in front of my car. The trash and half eaten food thrown all over the grass areas was an extra nice touch. The empty cases of beer left on the sidewalk, that I tripped over as u was leaving, was a nice parting gift.

Beds more comfortable than most higher priced hotels! Only complaint is TV had no basic channels available.

Just so you know in advance.....
When we arrived we had to ck in at the Howard Johnson (which is right up the hill from the Super 8) I know this has been mentioned in other posts so I am not sure if it was due to the time I checked in (it was after midnight) or if this is the norm. My room was reserved for the Super 8 for a room with 1 queen bed but when I ck in they had no queen beds available and tried to offer me a room with 2 doubles. I declined as I requested a queen because that was what I wanted and I had reserved the room several days in advance. They did offer me a queen at the Howard Johnson with no increase in charges and the person I dealt with was nice. The room I was given actually had 2 queens. The room was decent but was not very clean. The floors had what looked like sheet rock debris on them. There was a dryer that use to hang on the wall that was now beside the sink on the counter. The counter did not look like it had been wiped down. The towels in the bathroom were very thin and smelt as though they were new and had never been washed(at least I hope that was what the smell was- it was not a fresh smell). It was not very updated but I didn't really expect much for the price I was paying but I do expect clean. There were condoms all over the walk ways walking to the rooms. There was also an ally way that you have to go down to get to the stairs for the top rooms.

No one at desk st 8 PM ever! Finally saw a calling card with manager’s name and number. So, I called and they told me to go to HJ Motel next door to check in. Could never get internet or TV to work.

Kind of run down motel. Too expensive for what you get. The AC worked at least and wasn't overly loud. It's a $50 dollar motel charging you $88.

The room was terrible. It smelled like smoke, counters were dirty and fingerprints can be seen everywhere. Popcorn ceiling was falling down, chair was filthy, the linens had cigarette burns,sink faucet barely had running water, the floor was soaked from the air conditioner , and the rug was dirty with multiple snags. The curtains had mildew and outside the room and stairs were filthy. This property needs to be updated and cleaned! I would not recommend staying here.

I did not like anything about this hotel. They said they had breakfast. A big sign on the front door, "NO BREAKFAST BC OF COVID 19. REALLY?? Went to Super 8 lobby. A note to go to a different lobby. I'm disabled and it's hard to get in and out of car. The place was shabby and looked like a drug dealers den.i demanded a refund and at first he refused. Then I was told to call travelocity to get a refund. I would not leave a sick animal there. Yuck!!!!

Big sign on dresser under TV said “this is a non-smoking room. If tobacco is used in this room during your stay a $150 cleaning fee will be added to your bill.” I had already noticed cigarette burns on one of the bedspreads, so I looked for other indicators, and found cigarette burns on the bathtub! I took pictures of both and immediately took them to the office (in a different building!) and showed them to the clerks. I made it clear that I NEVER smoke indoors and would not appreciate anyone suggesting that I had. I also put the “please change this bedding” card on the bed with the cigarette burns on the bedspread Friday morning. Friday night the burned bedspread was still on the bed. Pretty low class.

In my party was 3 people. We got to room and only had 2 towels and was told they was going green and was not changing towels out . I explained they was 3 of us and was told we would have to share . I told them it was bull crap we couldn’t each have a towel . Don’t waist your money here ..

They are big on eco friendliness and drying/reusing the towels. Yet, when the room was cleaned they took the towel without replacing it. Also, small bugs were a problem throughout the stay. The bugs were not bedbugs.

This property was unique in that it had roaches. I've never been to a motel that had it this bad. It was awful. I bought Raid and that made the situation worse. I had to get out of the room. The cleanliness is not too bad for the price of the hotel and the staff is kind, but roaches are unacceptable. Expedia should be ashamed recommending this place, and other customers have said the same thing but Expedia continues to advertise this property. I'm disappointed in you, Expedia!

The room was in poor condition. The upholstered chair was so dirty that we did not choose to sit in it. Peeling paint off the ceiling had crumbled onto the floor making me wonder when it had last been vacuumed. There was black marker on the wall in the vanity area stating “____was here.” We found a bottle of baby oil between the bed and the wall, showing the cleaners weren’t efficient. My pillowcase did not look clean. We had prepaid and did stay for 2 nights since the beds were comfortable, but it was the worst hotel I’ve ever experienced. Mind you, the room we stay in was our second room because when we walked in the first one they assigned us, there was a yucky smell and a plywood board covering the window about the door where there seemed to be a broken window. I am not picky about hotels. I just need to feel like it’s a clean place. This was not! Finally, the website claimed the would be a breakfast included and there was not.

The room had not been cleaned me and my child went in and the room was filthy and smelled like a kennel the beds were stained with I don’t want to know what I went back to the manager and she sent someone to clean the room and five minutes later said it was ready lol they ended up getting me other accommodations but I’m still very disappointed In what they call a room I will not go back ever ever ever again

Very Dirty. Do NOT stay here, just dont.
I would have took pictures but my phone was dead and none of the outlets worked except the one the T.V was in. I had to charge my phone in my car. I do not even know where to begin. Ok yes, it was a budget friendly place to stay so Ive always gave grace when booking and not expected perfection. BUT, let's be clear, budget friendly does not mean down right nasty. Outdated, old crappie mattresses and pillows, yes - but this was just horrible and nasty from the time you opened the door. Where do I start... When we opened the door you were hit with a stench of musty pet ruined carpet and smoke. (it was supposed to be non smoking)The carpet were horrible, huge stains and completely missing in some spots. The bedspread and sheets were stained and had what I can only assume were cigarette burn holes. The headboard has obviously never been wiped as it had caked dust and pet hair all over it. NONE of the outlets worked except the one the TV was plugged in. The shower / bathroom was just filthy. Yall... it was bad. My daughter said and I quote " mom, we really need to go get our own blankets, this is going to give us a skin disease. Do not book this place, just dont. We travel for competitions, stayed in plenty of budget friendly places but this is the bottom of the barrel. I have never stayed at a Super8 until this trip and believe me I dont plan to stay at another one ever again. Yes, it was definitely THAT BAD.
