I gave it 5 stars in most areas considering it’s a 3 star hotel. So many travelers, specially us Americans, rate their stays on five star hotel expectations. The staff was friendly and helpful. They had a power outage for about 1 hrs but they dealt with it. I wanted another night which was not available but they found me a room just down the street and checked me in to it at 9am. I liked Il Duomo and the staff and recommend it.

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED
A beautiful little hotel in one of the most charming neighborhoods Assisi. Reasonably priced. Friendly and professional staff. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

Location was great however breakfast definitely needs a lot of improvement. There was a small kettle but there were no cup, saucer, teaspoon, tea nor coffee sachets. Bathroom has generous space.

I liked the location, the price and the cleanliness. I did not like the hard bed, small tv, room location , too many steps or breakfast. Staff were minimally helpful.

I liked the room, it was spacious and very clean. Unfortunately, upon arriving the staff person in the front desk was very serious and not helpful. She did not provide any information at all about Assis nor did she inform us about breakfast.

Best hotel for price in Italy
The best hotel I stayed in during my trip in Italy. The rooms were clean and new. The bathroom was brand new and well maintained. The staff was very friendly. We got there early (10ish) and they checked us in without any issues. I would love to stay at this place again. Highly recommended!

Property was very well suited for our excursions. Very clean nice desk clerk took us all the way to our room and showed us how to get in after hours very accommodating and we needed a late check-out they accommodated that also

Comfortable and a Good Value
Overall very nice. Wonderful location, good breakfast, attractive room, excellent room rate during winter. Comfortable bed. We could hear people down on the street, an issue for light sleepers to consider. The day of our visit was very cold and the heater wasn't powerful enough to raise the room temperature above 68 F, but we found that typical traveling around Italy, so perhaps that's to be expected.

Assisi not for sissys!
The hotel is centrally located on a steep but quiet street. Area seems safe enough and is also lite just enough to feel comfortable. Hotel staff can be friendly or just perfunctory at the desk. Breakfast is adequate but not special, it also is fresh and thoughtfully arranged. The city itself is great for a day or two. We tried 3 restaurants and not impressed. Food is 'tourist' stuff, cost for 2 with wine 30-60euros. Very disappointed in the food! We did find a nice coffee shop with outdoor seating and great coffee, the pastry shop nearby disappointed tho. TV at hotel not 1 English Channel that we could find, and be sure to bring enough euros for when u are there. Could not find an atm and bank we went to we did not use, fees were ridiculous. Walking up the hills is a challenge that proved quite difficult at times for us. we both are in mid 60s and I have a lower back issue that did contribute to my problems, taxis thankfully are available.

Nice clean hotel close to all the attractions Good breakfast! Unfortunately the walls between the rooms are very thin so if you are a light sleeper it’s hard to fall asleep with all the different noises coming from other rooms

Me gusto la ubicación. Fundamental considerando que no había escaleras cosa que en Asis abundan y con las valijas es todo un tema. Las habitaciones un poco chicas. Desayuno ok.

O quarto é pequeno, mas é aconchegante, tem elevador. A hospedagem fica bem próxima ao estacionamento da Piazza Mateotti. O hotel está localizado em uma zona restrita e não é possível chegar de carro até a hospedagem

O funcionário da recepção é extremamente educado, o hotel é limpo e familiar. Fica localizado bem no centro histórico. As vantagens acabam por aí. Pelo valor que paguei em uma suíte quádrupla, 132 euros, hospedei nessa minha euro tour de dois meses, em hotéis infinitamente superiores. Reservei quarto com cama Queen e duas camas de solteiro, não tinha, só sofá cama casal e cama normal. Dizia ter água gratuita no quarto, não tinha. Internet e aquecimento do banheiro foram desligadas a noite. As suítes são estranhas, cheias de degraus. A funcionária da limpeza é rude, poucos minutos antes das 11, bateu na porta questionando de forma rude se não sabíamos que o horário de check out era às 11. Grossa e direta demais. Ou seja, caso queria realmente conforto, esse não é o local. Não recomendo, pelo valor se encontra hotéis com maior custo benefício.

Il soggiorno presso Hotel il Duomo molto accogliente con servizio eccellente e una colazione abbondante si trova in una buona posizione dista circa 15 minuti a piedi dalla basilica di S Francesco praticamente al centro storico.

piccolo hotel vicino alla Rocca di Assisi. camera appena sufficiente per 3 adulti ma pulita. Personale poco disponibile e flessibile, confusionario nelle info quali il parcheggio. Sicuramente ideale per un soggiorno senza pretese ma sicuramente il costo non vale la candela
