We were warmly welcomed on check in and, at every step of the way, we were made to feel special! The bar tender, Shawn, made some delicious cocktails. The Giotto restaurant on site serves excellent food and has a very good selection of wines. We used the very well appointed spa for added luxury! The room had a large balcony with an amazing view of the Umbrian landscape, and, at night, the Basilica was lit up like a beacon. The only downside was the air conditioning in the rooms is not allowed be turned on until June- but, keeping the doors open at night cooled the room down and was very comfortable. Thanks to all the staff for making our stay so enjoyable.

I would suggest for 4 star hotel I was surprised that no one assisted with our bags to be honest my Mum is Elderly woman and if other customers are around that staff would assist. Also i know was cool outside but was quite warm in the hotel to point was quite hot at night even though turned off the temp and opened window

Hotel needs a refresh. Indoor pool on a property this beautiful is a shame as who wants to be inside when the sun is shining? Also, charging 3,50€ for towels and a shower cap is what your expect from a lower class resort. Parking was good.

The views are amazing, the rooms are great, the restaurant has a great view. The hotel is beautiful and close to the walkable area of assisi. I enjoyed the walk to the entrance of the old city but for the return I was too tired to walk. So I took a 5 min cab.

Our room was very comfortable and we had a good night sleep. The restaurant was a little different. It was like a cafeteria, bright lighting and a little sterile. The food was similar to buffet style. It was okay. We like good food so we can be a little more subjective .

Great hotel at the gates of Assisi with easy parking (beware of tight parking spots, rent a Fiat!) Beautiful terrace on top floor for sunset watching. Assisi 10 min bus ride away, bus leaves from right outside the hotel every 40nin. Loved it!

A beautiful facility, with friendly staff. A bit outside Assisi, in a beautiful wooded area. I walked or took the bus to get into the city proper. Lavish breakfast included with the room. Beautiful indoor heated pool. Highly recommended!

Good Hotel.
Hotel was ok. I did not expect much as I realize it not a modern city. The hotel room was small and bathroom was very dark and moldy. There is no glass partition or shower curtain instead they used the tiled wall which blocks the light out of the shower. There is no window in bathroom and lighting is dim and the decorator chose dark blue tiles for the bathroom. Poor choice.On the other hand they have on site parking and the breakfast is fantastic. There is alot of variety and the breakfast room is very spacious with multiple coffee machines that make Espresso, American Coffee, tea etc.

Amazing comfortable hotel by the historic city of Assisi. Me and my wife enjoyed very much the place and the stunning views. The staff was very nice and welcoming. We actually want to go back.

Very nice hotel but our room had a strong musty smell. Enjoyed being able to park our car easily right at the hotel and then walking to downtown Assisi (Or they had a shuttle available). We had dinner at the hotel and we opted for the buffet which was very good.

I dont know how this can be close to a 4 star hotel. Lousy customer service/relations as well as this property is run down. A piece of heavy door molding came off the wall and hit my young daughter in the foot and scared us all. We called the lobby, someone came up and looked at us like we did something intentional. We were no where near it, other pieces had been screwed in, so apparently this has happened before! If my daughter was a few inches closer, she would have been seriously injured. The did not apologize or even assist us putting in to an unprepared room. Of course we checked, and it also had loose molding, we put a chair up against it to help prevent that one from falling on us. To top it all off, we were chased out of the pool because we did not have swimming caps on. THERE WAS NO SIGNAGE INDICATED THIS WAS REQUIRED! We were in the process of leaving anyway because others were going in the pool without showering and there were actual used band aids floating in the water. How disgusting. This pool area too out is dated/decrepit and it has no shallow part where kids can stand on the bottom. Noisy Small room..

Great alternative to Stay in Assisi, hotel is well equipped and its got a charming guido luxury feel to it, tje pool in fantastic so is the breakfast, my room had issues with the AC so i tool a couple points, but its got a fantastic parkig, and its a 10m walk from.city center, overall its very good

Nice hotel, with very beautiful amenities (although I didn't stay long enough to use them). The big issue for me was the beds, they were very hard, my back really hurt in the morning because they were so hard. Otherwise staff was very nice and property was good.

A great hotel for visiting Assisi...
Grand Hotel Assisi is a wonderfully located hotel for exploring the city itself and the surrounding hilltop settlements. Large airy rooms complemented by modern bathrooms ensure a comfortable stay. Breakfasts are good, and we love the covered car park which feels more secure than others. Also the free shuttle service and frequent buses are so convenient. A great choice!

Lovely Grand Assisi
Loved this hotel and would stay again. Room was a bit small for 3 but otherwise lovely. Breakfast was amazing. Parking garage is a real challenge so make sure your car is small! Enjoyed the outdoor space. I would definitely stay here again.
