A great central location for my two day visit to Normandy. Felt very welcome by the landlord. Good food too. Would stay again and recommend it to friends.

We were put in the attic room not the room we had seen In advertisement we had to climb three flight of stairs as there is no lift very small and degraded room will not go back.

Ok Hotel in a good location
The location is good. Very close to the beach and restaurants. The hotel itself is ok. The room was very small (don't bring more than one suitcase). The condition are ok at best. Very loud staircase,you could feel the springs in the mattress and the bathroom floor was quite wet after the shower. Hotel would need some renos. Best is the friendly service and the breakfast was good too.

It was very quiet and across the street from the beach. Friendly staff. I was on the top floor which had a significant roof pitch and the toilet was against the wall. If you are a man and taller than about 5’7” you will have to sit down to relieve yourself.

The Shower head did not fit and only was for someone 6ft 5in like my partner I had to take it down and use as a handheld shower and could not turn it off had to call my partner to do it, in the Shower cubical there was highly polished tiles which were slippery when wet and no grab rails very dangerous i slipped a few times. After a couple of days we were only given 2 Bath towels no hand towel so one of us had to use a wet towel. We were given paper cups in the bathroom to start with but most days they forgot to give us these also a bottle of water again hit and miss. we had to ask every day for Tea bags and sugar and were only give 2 at a time they also did not wash the cups. Also when we came back to the room one day the cleaners had forgotten lock our room. Breakfast which was extra we had the first day but there was not much and the waitress had to go out to the Bakers to buy more bread etc.

Great family run hotel, right on the beach. Clean and tidy , albeit slightly tired, but this adds to its charm. Breakfast nice but basic, dinner very nice, we ate there every night. Staff lovely and helpful. Would recommend and stay again .

Perfect location
Wonderful - View of beaches and Museum. Perfect location (although pouring with rain and rough weather - JUST as the troops had a few days after landing!) Meals out of season (4th March) limited. KInd service from all. Loved the wide old oak staircase. Recommend - No grumbles! Would stay again.

Shabby hotel; good restaurant
The hotel area doesn't appear to have had any money spent on it since 1975. The carpets are dirty and the walls are chipped and marked. The bathroom out-dated.. The restaurant food, however was excellent. Welcoming tea and coffee in the room.

View amazing from restaurant. You could see harbor remains. The June 6.1944 Museum is across the street. Small breakfast. Very small rooms but clean.

Great location in beautiful small seaside town. Lots of atmosphere as overlooks the Place 6 juin 1944 & the coast. VERY good value restaurant in Second World War setting.

Hotel staff friendly and accommodating. Room and facilities clean but areas of the hotel could do with a refresh. Room was booked as a twin but the beds were pushed together as there was only about 24'' walk space around them, so a bit tight. Very little room for hanging clothes, no wardrobes or chest of draws. En suite functionable but again limited in space. Breakfast buffet style, acceptable but nothing exceptional for 10.90 euros per person. Hotel restaurant, limited menu, not particularly good the night we arrived, a bit basic , so we eat else where on other nights.Town and amenities is quite small, other eateries do not stay open (?out of season) very late, so eat early to avoid disappointment. If you are visiting regarding the D Day landings then Arromanches is a good place to stay. Amazing but incomprehensible sense of what happened on 6th June 1944, Mulberry harbours still visible, good and informative museum, other beaches and sites are reasonably close by but transport is required to access them.

Restaurante-hotel viejo, con moqueta vieja que necesita cambiarse, habitacion pequeña, con un aseo donde una persona grande o gruesa no puede casi utilizarlo por diminuto. Malos olores en ocasiones y buffet caro para lo que ponen, siempre lo mismo, poca variedad y con hormigas. El personal si fue amable.

Hotel le normandie a arromanche
Bonjour Sejour a l ascension 2022 du jeudi au dimanche Hotel beau de loin que de loin car vetuste chambre ridiculement petite en tres mauvais état table de nuite a la limite de se decrocher de la tête de lit fenetre et vitrage pas propre television ( une boite allumette) et niveau bruit insupportable monté descente des escalier qui résonne dans la chambre fortement jusqu'à minuit Quand au personnel sauf la réceptionniste de hotel et deux serveurs le reste et tres grossier et d une impolitsse !!! Le restaurant et bon sauf que un samedi soir a 18h45 impossible d avoir une coupe de champagne marqué a la carte ? Franchement les deux etoile de cette etablissement ont les cherchent encore cela et juste un marchand de sommeil un piege a touristes Je deconseille cette etablissement passer votre route si vous voulez passer un bon sejour a l hotel a arromanche

IDEALEMENT SITUE
Hôtel sympa qui a besoin d'un rafaichissement mais très bien situé, face à la mer et le port artificiel. En ce moment, il y a une grue mais ce n'est pas la faute de l'hôtel. Petit-déjeuner sympa.
