My boyfriend and I chose to stay at the Comfort Inn and Suites for our 3 year anniversary and it was absolutely horrible since we’ve arrived there. As soon as we got to our room, there was a crack in the door by the lock and the locks on the door didn’t make us feel safe. We booked the hotel online through Expedia and saw pictures that made the hotel seem much better than what it was. The property also advertised a pool which was completely drained as well. We paid a cancellation fee which ended up being completely useless and a waste of money. We decided to switch rooms. The room ended up feeling safer and we started to enjoy our stay. Unfortunately, my boyfriend and I got into a serious car wreck while on the trip and were required to checkout the next day. We asked that night if we could have an extended checkout in order to have a bit more time to go through the necessary next steps. The lady at the front that night said she could only give us until 12 o’clock, but would let the owner know. The morning after, my boyfriend and I walked down to see if they could accommodate a later checkout time until we knew what was going on with the car. The lady at the front was horrible to us, didn’t even try to help us out. She acted completely dismissive, said her manager was out of town and there was nothing she could do. It felt predatory, as if they were giving us no options but to book another night for a few hours, as well as not letting us stay in the lobby for the time being.

The rooms were clean and beds were very comfortable. We had an issue when we arrived because the room we booked through Expedia was not the room we had received from the hotel. The hotel front desk attendant did switch us from that room to the room we had paid for. Also, the pool which is indoors was not open and was closed.

I only picked this hotel because of the indoor pool, and when we got there the indoor pool was closed because of the season. Our room wasn’t the cleanest, the pillows were disgusting and my face started itching. I slept with a towel over pillows the rest of the stay. The only thing I liked was the location

Check in was rough. Front desk person was very cold. She definitely acted like she would rather be somewhere else. She finished checking us in, gave us no property information or said thank you. We had to ask if we were done with check in. No direction to the elevator or info about the free breakfast. Got to our room and it was 54 degrees inside. Heater didn’t work so I called down and told her the issue. No apology. Just a “it’s no problem” and said she would give us another room. Went down and found the room key on the counter. That’s it. New room was clean. WiFi did not work. Toilet was clogged after first flush. Sink wouldn’t drain. Called down and she said there was no maintenance people there on a Saturday. We were staying 3 nights. On the second night, I requested more towels. Went downstairs to grab them and “all they had were 2”. So strange to me. Wife told me I’m no longer allowed to make our hotel reservations when we go out of town LOL.

We have stayed here previously and again this weekend, as we were visiting our daughter. This stay was subpar and we will likely not return. The hot water was warm, at best, certainly not hot. The temperature was cooler as the stay continued. The ac/ heater unit was literally hanging out of the wall on arrival, and we could literally see outside. My husband jammed it back in the wall. We did report this the following a.m. we arrived too late the night before. Still worked ok. The advertised pool was covered and "closed for the season." It is an indoor pool?? Isnt the point of an indoor pool to avoid weather related issues? No housekeeping service our whole stay. Later we discovered it was "due to Covid concerns." Really? Seems like an excuse to avoid providing generally expected service. Covid is not going anywhere and it is time businesses stop using this as an excuse to omit services.The lack of service is not refected in the overall cost. Icemaker on the 3rd floor is not operational. Room we booked was a king, we received room with 2 beds. Again, late arrival, not worth the move. Room was in need of reburbishment. No tub stopper. But temperature was so cool, would not have been enjoyable. Location was close to university and easy on/off from highway. There were convenience stores, food, and a CVS close by. Location was good for us, but too many issues to ignore and forgive as " a one off."

I will not stay at another Comfort Inn & Suites. I accidently booked for the wrong night. Yes, that was my fault, but all I wanted was to switch the days. They were still going to be paid. After multiple attempts to contact the hotel through Hotels.com (who was more than accomnadating), they finally answered to say they would not change the days. Customer service gets a zero

Accommodating room due to respiratory conditions
Initially I booked the king non smoking suite. The bathtub had just been treated with a chemical application to prevent slippage. The smell affected my asthma and copd and I had to be changed to a two bed room with out the aweful chemical smell. I also use a cpap for sleep apnea. The owner was doing all the tubs and the two beds room still had a chemical smell but not as potent as the king suite. I kept the bathroom door closed and the bathroom fan on to eliminate the smell. Bed mattress was just right not too soft. Breakfast was good basically sausage patties, scrambled eggs, biscuits and either seasoned fries or gravy. Coffee was great. I would stay there again

Do not stay here. Filthy.
The room was horrible. So dirty. The sheets had red liquid on them and brown marks. I had to go to Walmart and get disinfectant to wipe surfaces down. The bathroom was full of caulk. The carpet was filthy. Our socks were so dirty from walking around. Fake fingernails were on the floor beside the bed and a fingernail box under the heating unit. Downstairs smelled like burnt rubber the first night. The indoor pool was closed for the season. I’ve never seen an indoor pool closed for that reason. We contacted hotels.com to inform them. They were great and tried to work with the hotel but the hotel would not let us out of the reservation. I understand the agreement I made. Just wanted to let it be known that we tried to leave. I would not recommend this place to anyone.
