The owner was very sweet and willing to do what she could to help and make sure I had everything I needed. The location was really good near the beach, train station (5 min walk) and main street which is full of people at night. The hotel has nice decor and the bed was comfy.

Wonderful small hotel with a very friendly staff. 2 minutes from the beach and the center of town. And Hemingway lived here! I would highly recommend this little gem.

Good location but!
Dangerous bolts at end of bed the limited space in room caused us to catch clothing and ankles on rajor sharp badly cut bolts at least file the sharp ends Very noisy room in very busy street a consequence of good location Ther is no practical parking on site TV a chalange to operate no English channels (it is France after all)

Loved this quirky, friendly hotel
Loved this hotel. It's a quirky hotel, completely immaculate and clearly well loved and cared for by the owner Sylvie. My single room had no wardrobe but this didn't prove an inconvenience and I felt it completely acceptable for the price and 2 star rating. Very near the beach and in the middle of the bars and restaurants. It could be noisy but the double glazing cut the noise out entirely. Having stayed in a number of hotels in the area over the years, this is great value for money. I will stay here every time in the future.

A little piece of art in Juan-les-pin
Sylvie was wonderful. I would come back here again and again. Just remember in the summer it is hot. Free parking is where you can find it on the streets: be prepared to walk a few blocks if you have a car and do not want to pay for parking. If you are into art and love 50s, 60s Art Deco, you will love this hotel

Wonderful boutique hotel full of character
Wonderful stay at Hotel de la Pinede - the room was spacious, comfortable and full of character, as is the entire hotel. Sylvie takes care of all the little details, making us feel st home straightaway. The location is ideal for the beaches and bars/restaurants, but, thanks to double glazing, still plenty quiet enough. Highly recommended!

The host gave me a small piece of paper with the wifi information and her phone number on it. I did not know the paper included the front door passcode because she checked me in so quickly and only took time to explain how the sink worked and how to use the wifi. When I called the phone number on the front door at 6:30 pm to ask how to get in the building, the host yelled at me and hung up on me!! Very unpleasant experience! I decided NOT to buy breakfast for 10€. It seemed unreasonable. I had the room facing the street with bar underneath and bar across the narrow street and a 3rd bar caddy corner to the hotel - the windows blocked out much street noise BUT the air conditioning was "out" during my stay. Therefore, I had to leave the windows open at night for a couple hours before going to sleep just to cool down. It was impossible to hear the TV or even someone I was talking to on the phone with the windows open. Do not advertise air conditioning if it is not working!!! The shower does not have a door to close, the water puddle leaked from the bathroom floor onto the floor of the bed because of a hole in the bathroom siding. Host made it clear she designed the room herself and told me if I broke anything, she would "kill me." That is not funny, and no way to talk to your guest. Don't stay here!

Great fun, lovely owner, perfect for young people.
We loved everything about it; funky, quirky, fun and in the middle of everything. We would not recommend for more mature travellers, given proximity to clubs, but perfect for younger travellers and adventurous couples. Thank you.

Very central but located in the same building as a nightclub. You can hear the loud music and screaming drunk people till 5am even with the window closed.

Awesome boutique hotel!
Excellent location in Juan Les Pins. My wife and I stayed in room #18 which is small-but-efficient and faced the street, bars and nightlife. There was noise at night but the dual-paned windows kept it acceptably quiet. The A/C in room #18 was a life-saver from the hot August nights. The hotel is very cleverly designed; we noticed new, interesting details every time we walked up the stairs. Owner Sylvie's hospitality and helpfulness was greatly appreciated. We had a great stay and look forward to coming back soon.

Great value in the heart of Juan Les Pins
excellent basic hotel in the heart of Juan les Pins, maybe 5-10 min walk to the train station. The owner was so helpful and a lovely hostess. We asked for a quiet room - 18 - and it was on the second floor. Quieter at night when the outside shutters were closed, but you could hear some nightlife. I'd say it's city-level ambient noise. They had shampoo, but no hand soap. Huge towels and a decent amount of counter space. Air conditioning was some of the best in the south of France!

We had a wonderful time staying at the Hotel de la Pinede. The hotel is close to the beach but also near restaurants, bars, shops. We had a great room that was comfortable and very nicely decorated. Breakfast is amazing, with homemade cakes and pastries.

Sylvie is a wonderful B&B owner BUT...
Sylvie is a wonderful B&B owner and her home made breakfasts are absolutely delicious. Unfortunately the hotel is on a seedy, filthy, and noisy street. She made no mention that the elevator doesn't work. You can smell cigarettes and booze from the streets inside your room. There is no parking in case you need to have a car here, even though the owner claims it's "easy". It's not. The streets are seedy, crowded and dirty and parking (if you are planning to rent a car to go sight-seeing) is a nightmare. My stay there felt dangerous and my room was not at all as shown in the photo or description. The stay there was an absolute disaster; the only good thing about my staying at this place was that it made me stay outside longer. Although there were plenty of people requesting rooms, I decided to leave a couple nights early to end this nightmare and Silvie not only refused to refund just part of the two nights I didn't stay, she said she had to "turn people away" when in fact she had just accommodated new people. She should have offered to reimburse me if someone took the room at least, or offered to waive the breakfast fee which she doesn't tell you about ("comes with breakfast"). Still, saying she needed the money, she kept the two nights' fee and didn't offer any compromise for a room that she herself said she hated. However, if you're a teenager or early 20s, have no money, and like to get drunk and stay out until 5AM and eat cheap food at nearby stalls, this is a good place.

If you don't like the impersonal nature of large hotels and like something different, then this small unique hotel is for you. We stayed there for a week and thoroughly enjoyed it. The hotel itself is decorated in a very funky style. Location wise it could not be better, 5 mins to the train station, buses regular, beach 2 min walk and ample restaurants and bars on the doorstep. This is a big plus as car parking in this area is not easy. Sylvie the owner could not be more attentive or passionate about what she does. Breakfast for example was continental style and always included a home cooked pastry. We would definitely stay here again.

So much attention to detail has gone into this hotel's renovation. Everywhere you look, something smart, modern or vintage, that appeals. Breakfast is cleverly prepared, and don't worry about noise - the double-glazing on windows works a treat. The host Sylvie is tres, tres charmant.

This is a really pretty hotel which is so well done. Enjoyed my stay and would highly recommend the place. I would make one small suggestion is that a fridge is put in somewhere as summer does get pretty hot there.

Beautiful boutique, design focused hotel
We stayed for one night in the wonderful Hotel de la Pinède in Juan les Pins. The hotel is really much more beautiful than the photos suggest - Sylvie's eye for detail and flair for design made the communal areas really special. She also made us a fabulous breakfast which included home made cakes! As well as cereals, breads and preserves(in cute little glass pots), pastries and a variety of hot and cold drinks. The quantities were so considered for each guest having breakfast - and lovely place settings put out on the sunny terrace - that the experience felt so personal. We had one of the budget rooms - the bathroom was very small but this was not a problem for our particular needs.

The simple fact is that this is a great value hotel. It is simple, clean, no frills, central and at an affordable price. The owner runs the place herself and is delightful. The ten euro breakfast is lovely and a great start to the day. I was very happy there for four nights.

Cute, clean but with its faults....
Spent two nights here in August. The hotel itself is in great condition and is decorated very "artfully". It is very small, and could quite possibly be more of a hostel than a hotel. When booking we were told the room was going to be very small, and this did turn out to be the case so we were not disappointed or shocked. The rooms are very very clean and the wifi excellent. Biggest negatives for us were the lack of aircon (rooms come with a rotating fan) which meant the small room was like a sauna at times! and its location directly over the busiest night spots of Juan Les Pins, which if partying until 5am is your thing would be almost perfect as you could fall out of a nightclub and into bed, although the noise was a bit of an annoyance at times (especially the brazilian bongo players at 2am!). Otherwise location wise its very good, close to the beach etc. Although parking is a big difficulty here.

One of a kind!
This is the best boutique hotel we have ever stayed at. A more personal experience than expected, we got a tour and a chat with the owner who has done a lovely job! The design and look of the hotel common areas is really fun/interesting things to look at... The breakfast was so beautifully curated and tasty. Parking was the only difficulty we experienced, had to park a few blocks away in a neighborhood and walk.

This hotel is right in the middle of everything - on the main pedestrian street with all the restaurants, shops and minute walk from the beach strip. Super cute hotel with adorable design - very clean. The host is very pleasant and helpful. Free and safe parking can be found nearby. Would definitely recommend.

Small hotel (12 rooms) with a very active and friendly owner. The location is pretty central, though if you're looking for quiet, this is not the place to be (next to several bars and clubs). This was not an issue for me, however. The room is very clean and modern, the lack of closet space could be an issue for the heavy packers. Rooms are non-smoking, however there is a terrace where one could indulge if one wished to. Well-priced and centrally-located with a terrific owner/manager.

Well designed, petit bedroom with en suite but grand comfy bed , Host Silvi was a star! friendly, helpful and could speak good english, breakfast the best we had on our trip. Parking nearby not easy at weekends. If you are looking for well priced accomodation in the middle of the action, this is the place!

Very nice welcome from the host/owner, a good location close to the beach, there are a couple of rooms above the downstairs cafe, to make up for a bit of noise there is a free drink-a fair exchange.

Start with the good stuff - nice location! Just a few seconds walk to the beach :) The owner was lovely, the room was clean and the bed was comfy. Can't fault any of that. Now, the not so good stuff - however let me say first none of this was unexpected or really a big deal, as lets me honest is it very cheap considering the area and the other prices of nearby hotels. It's in a noisy area at nights with bars all around - not a problem for me as im a deep sleeper so I wasn't bothered. The room was slightly on the small side, especially the shower, however it was big enough that it was fine for a base. For the price paid, it was very good value for money and I wouldnt hesistate to stay again should I be in the area.

Fantastic owner & Trendy Boutique hotel! Will stay again. The husband and wife team are so nice and the hotel is so cool. many designs I'm going to use in my house. Only gripe is its above a bar that stops its music at around 11pm so not the best for a quiet night away. Fantastic if you want to be in the heart of JLP!

A charming stay
This hotel was easy to find and is right in the thick of things! We had a clean comfortable room and there is a lovely terrace with plenty of shade. Although there is no on-site parking, there is plenty of free street parking nearby.

"ELLE DECO" in real
Amazing location just above main street. It gives exciting live feeling of summer party night of south France, at the same time you won't be able to fall a sleep until 2am. Interior design and decorations are really fantastic. Every little thing are nicely done by owner and husband, who is architect and interior designer. Definitely worth to stay if you are in interior design.
