For a 5* all-inclusive hotel it was adequate. However little details in the customer experience really let it down.
The food remarkably average and the beverages of poor quality, the red wine and gin for example was always particularly poor. The A La Carte restaurants were slightly better though, but this is prepared fresh.
Some staff seem undertrained in general politeness. The first meeting at check-in wasn't particularly welcoming, and there was the occasional hard sell on extra premium items, especially in the spa.
Also some bizarre behaviour of some staff indicates a lack of training on customer experience, examples: waiters pushing rows of chairs loudly through the restaurant next to eating guests, a bartender serving a red wine glass in a sizeable puddle of its own contents, these are just a couple of examples.
The spa is also ok. The Hammam (Turkish bath) was the best experience of the visit. But the massages are expensive for the experience offered. The masseuses are skilled but the atmosphere was neglected, no music or broken music (jarring, skipping, repeating) to hide the loudness of the staff working nearby, no incense so you smell the water chemicals, etc. Which spoil the experience. The steam room smelt of mould and actually had mould floating in un-drained water. Sauna, was adequate except some broken/loose floor panels that throw you off balance if you step on one.
This is a solid 4* hotel in my opinion and doesn't compare to other 5*s
