"very clean, modern spacious room, staff friendly, bar was good with reasonable prices. We arrived on a Saturday and the restaurant was shut! which was a shame as it looked nice and the menu looked good. Would recommend this hotel and we hope to return "

"This place is TIRED- obviously Angers is a tourist town and probably not a lot of repeat visitors- The decor is cheap and the halls have a red and black theme and look old, poorly done in the first place and just tacky. The towels are gray and thin and in short supply- The bathroom had hot water but not a proper shower (sit in the tub with hand held)- On the good side, it's well located to tour Angers for a couple of days with parking on site. "Charming property centrally located. Staff was very welcoming and helpful. Inner rooms are completely silent given its central location. Near to all the major sights. Would easily recommend. "

"While prepaid, we were never informed this property is permanently closed. We had a very hard time finding it, hours, and when we achieved getting there, the gates were padlocked. We honked and a caretaker came to the gate seeming surprised we were there. “Ferme! Ferme! Finis!” he cried. Showing him the reservation with picture of the chateau, he acknowledged we were at the right place. He made a phone all but still said “Ferme!” We had to find other lodgings and pay again."

"I received a warm welcome from Celine, who spoke very good English, and she advised on where to eat, what to do and what not to miss during my short visit to Angers. The hotel is very conveniently located for the station and a 10 minute walk from the chateau. My room was very clean and comfortable and I slept well. It was quiet. Breakfast featured a variety of fresh fruits, breads, croissants and cereals, hard boiled eggs, ham and cheese, accompanied by good filter coffee. I was very satisfied!"
