Did not clean room I asked for garbage bags to empty garbage not a few times and was asked in a negative way why do I need bags. The people at the front desk very rude and the looks were unprofessional. Two people were nice and very helpful. The taxi driver said that the area was all about drugs.

The hotel was a mess, the floors were dirty. My room smelled like smoke, and the owner claimed she didn't smell anything. The smell of smoke gives me a headache, I mean it's very distinctive. The floors in the room were sticky, the beds were grungy. My brother and I left, and went and booked a room else where. Also, after I canceled my stay, a couple came in behind me and got my exact room. So they didn't even go in my room and make sure it was clean after I left, before booking it to someone else. Do not "save money" and stay here. The area is bad too, so many homeless around there.

They have great online advertising. Very deceptive. It didn’t feel safe. The toilet was broken and glued back together. The staff were accommodating and yet the entire place is in dire need of an upgrade. Homeless people were peeking in the windows. Very disappointed.

Smokeless?
Its noce and spacious. But Rm 200 had a bad smoking smell that just wasnt right. Even though is a non-smoking hotel. Clean and lots of room. Also, remote control for t.v all broken with no battery. I couldn't enjoy the t.v. but mainly the cigarette smell.

The hotel was clean and ok on the inside, but you are greeted by multiple signs on each of the outside walls warning of no loitering and or trespassing in the area. There is no parking lot for the hotel, just an abandoned city lot next to it with many vagrants, loitering youths, and homeless hanging around.

The hotel has the appearance of property where there is a lot of drug / alcohol use on or near the property. Noise level inside the hotel sounded like someone moving furniture all night and there were people in the parking lot all night drinking. Would not recommend to anyone.

The price was right, the restaurant was excellent, the neighborhood terrible. The room was ok, clean sheets and all but the fridge had not been cleaned. We took care of it because the cleaning lady was clearly overwhelmed. It is a reality of post-Covid travel. Location was fine, just a few minutes to downtown where we took in a lot of what Anchorage has to offer. We declined all of the expensive tours being offered and stuck with the free stuff of which there is a lot. Overall good stay!

Dump hotel but nice staff
The hotel is quite dilapidated and smelled gross. The light fixture in the room didn’t work and there were drug addicts on the street outside. That said, hotel staff were very friendly and helpful.

This place needs to decide whether it is a hotel or an SRO. I think i got one of the best rooms (great mattress) but if you have to go to the desk to ask for a glass in the room and they give you a paper one that tells you something. After the start of the afternoon shift don't call them - you will get the "busy with other customers" which translates to the desk clerk is in the alley helping someone fix his car. The web image is flattering. I made a reservation to get picked up off the returning train (Alaska Railroad) - they didn't show up. Food service is MINIMALIST. I suspect they price their rooms to undercut the competition, not to actual value.

Scheduled to stay 4 nights & checked out after 1 due to unsafe conditions of property and other occupants. Room had drug paraphernalia, blood on the bed frame, broken and burned outlets, missing smoke alarm, damaged floor heating, broken door, floor, closet. Sketchy people coming and going at all hours of the night/early morning made it impossible to sleep. The front desk people I spoke with were nice and understanding when we showed pics of the filthy room and immediately checked us out for the duration of our scheduled stay. I would never stay here again and am actually upset with Travelocity for even listing this dump as an option for a place to stay since for me it questions the integrity of their brand standards to let such a scuzzy, potentially dangers place be available on their site.

Room was single full bed, I had reserved a room with two beds. Was supposed to be non smoking, but obviously had been smoked in at some point. Paper thin walls and floors, so the people stumbling in after closing time made lots of racket. The homeless folks that camped out in the parking lot next to the dumpster was a nice touch. Got locked out of the lobby when I decided to bring all my bags in, had to beat on the door to get someone to unlock it. At $60, it would have been a bargain, for $151 way overpriced. I’ve stayed at worse, but for the price this was pretty bad.

This picture does not capture the real place. It is run down and scary. The guy who does the shuttle is very nice and was very accommodating. The woman who ran the desk was so nice to us. I'm pretty sure we were the only customers in a while that were actually on a vacation. That being said, I'm pretty sure you can rent by the hour. I'm also thinking most guests were renting on a long term basis. We were there for over an hour before we could check in and that was after communicating with them throughout the day about the time or room would be ready. It was obvious the door to our room had been kicked in at some point. Probably outta not stay there and I would not again.

Enjoyed the artwork! Functionally, we needed a place to sleep for one night. It worked for that purpose without having to pay ridiculous prices to only be a few blocks up the road. Staff was friendly, so no complaints there. Just a seedy environment and a run down facility.

Scary, horrible place
The photos provided are not what it currently looked like. We truly feared for our lives. Check in time was 3:00 pm, they kept telling us the rooms would be ready "soon" or "in 15 minutes". They finally let us in the room at 5:00 pm. No AC, but the window was open (no screen) and a guy wino was drinking from a paper bag on the other side of the window. No towel racks, no towels until we asked for some, no hair dryer, no curtains on the bathroom window (that was NOT opaque glass). The toilet leaked onto the floor. There was an empty shampoo bottle and hair on the floor of the shower (after they spent 2 hours "cleaning" the place0. You could tell the door jam on the room door had been kicked in at some point. There was graffiti on the couch in the "lobby".
