It was nice for the area. Not the safest part of town but good as clean and staff was friendly enough. And nice and close to airport. Big plus for me 2 minutes away

Perhaps a little outdated and could use an update and freshening up but a good night's sleep on a decent mattress. There was only one bath towel which was odd as there were three of us in the room. Might want to make sure there are adequate towels for showering. Overall pleasant. Needed to be close to the airport and Uber driver took us to the downtown area so very convenient.

We like that is was close to the airport and they provided shuttle service. We called the hotel and they were very prompt picking us up. Had some trouble with checking in but was resolved. The rooms we clean, there are some updates that need to happen. The breakfast was very good and the people were friendly.

I stayed here multiple times without major issues. The shuttle to the airport with friendly drivers is a major plus. The rooms are decent and clean - for the most part, fortunately - the cleaning staff forgot about a small thrash in the bathroom which I noticed upon check in, late in the evening and told the receptionist upon check out the next morning. For the price it's a definitely place to stay if you need a nights rest between your flights/driving.

I called fthe Alex Hotel requesting a shuttle to the hotel as soon as I landed, and was told ithat it was on its way and would be there shortly. After 45 minutes of countless unanswered calls to the hotel, the receptionist answering the phone told me that the driver never got the message and he was on his way. He arrived 30 minutes later, offering no apology or reason for the delay. When I arrived at the hotel, I stood at the front desk for 15 minutes, while the receptionist was on the phone, chatting it up with someone, before she acknowledged my presence and checked me in. The room was fine but no working thermostat to regulate the temperature. The continental breakfast was satisfying and the morning shuttle bus driver was present, available and ready to take me the airport at my request.

Horrible place to stay had a room that the heater would not turn off. I had to sleep with the window open during the night because of the heater. Then in the morning found out I did not have a shower curtain in the bathroom.

They have two buildings, each with 3 floors, elevator in one of the building did not work, so yes, we have to carry our big luggage all by ourself on stairs. The room they provided was not cleaned prior to our arrival, infact we arrived late. We saw food particles on the table and floor. No fridge, no microwave and some lights were not working. Clearly they are working on the second building, they are not professional enough not to have guest in that building during the renovation.

This hotel worked for our last minute stay, but it clearly has it's best days in the rear view mirror. The shuttle to the airport was good. The breakfast was so-so. Imagine our surprise to see someone being removed from the premises in handcuffs by the local police.

We had a handicapped family member- needed king beds- the elevator didn’t work and the room was on the third floor. Carpets need cleaning and a fresh coat of paint would be nice. Convenient location, and breakfast was very good.

Stay away from this place.
Worst place to stay, elevator broken and management not willing to help with luggage. A few employees trying to work hard but people sit in reception have no interest in customer service. Embarrassment.

Their elevator had been broken since 2021 and we were not informed. Our room was on the 3rd floor so we had to drag our luggage up and down 3 floors and had the last room at the end of the hallway. The night desk clerk was not very friendly but the daytime man desk clerk was very nice and helpful.

I would not recommend.
It appears money was used to make the lobby look good. The rooms were another story. Pipes in the shower were shoddy. and bathroom sinks were old and low. It was supposed to be a kitchen unit but there was no stove. There was a microwave and fridge, but they were stacked in a corner and not plugged in. Another guest brought a cup with a bedbug down to the desk. The hall and room did not smell great. Two elevators but one wasn't working.

Appreciated the shuttle service from the airport.but not so much the hotel stay. Elevator floor was filthy. Hallway areas had a distinct bad odor. Restaurant was the breakfast area with limited menu of Chinese food and hamburger type options. Rate was high for what was provided. Walked to a first class restaurant down the road for dinner and discovered that for only $50 more we could have stayed there. Overall we were disappointed with our hotel choice.

The elevator didn’t work and we was on 3rd floor and the four of us are seniors carrying bags up 3 flights of stairs. The coffee pot still had the grounds in it. For four people only 2 towels and 1 wash cloths. Only 2 cups for coffee for 4 people.
