Quite expensive price for the quality of the stay. Thumbs up only for the position in front of the tram stop, very convenient to reach Geneva's city center in 20 minutes. The room was quite nice, but the bathroom was surrounded by a bad smell of humidity; even after a complain, nothing changed. Also, my magnetic card did not work at the second night and I had to have it reset at the reception. The most disappointing part was that, at my arrival, I've been asked for a 150 EUR deposit by cash without any previous notice; since the ATM was too far, I gave my credit card number, which is something not recommended usually. Even though this is asked by law, it would be better to specify it at booking time.

OK but not great.
Got a good deal on this hotel and was happy about it... but the hotel is located in a seemingly so so neighborhood ( we actually don’t know if it’s the case or not...). The room was ok although a bit run down but the bathroom seemed to have been recently remodeled ( website picture not matching the reality unless we got an older room not yet remodeled). The room was a bit smelly due to a leaky AC... and we couldn’t tell reception because there was nobody when we checked out. Maybe due to Covid policy ? Otherwise breakfast was good and although we had a room streetside we didn’t hear much.

Great room, terrible Wifi
The room (518), including the bathroom, was actually very nice and quiet. However, the internet (Wifi) in the room was horrific, i.e. practically useless. This needs to be fixed before I am willing to give any rating better than satisfactory.

Serviceable and affordable
The hotel itself is clean, air conditioned, and recently renovated. The staff is helpful and efficient, and there’s a small bar with drinks and snacks. The hotel is not fancy (combination soap/shampoo dispenser), but it’s quite serviceable and one of the better Ibises I’ve stayed in. In fact, I was surprised at how nice, clean, and updated the rooms are. Annemasse is a lovely little area, but connections to Geneva will be far improved when the tram (which will pass right by the hotel) is built. In the meantime, construction on the tram and new apartment buildings makes it a bit confusing to walk in the immediate surrounding area.

Thier’s a major road construction/train tracks construction in the location for the next few months and it’s like a labyrinth to get there. Construction noice is loud and dusty in the daytime.

I have been visiting this hotel for so many years and always The staff making me feeling at home. The only problem these days is the road from the border to the hotel.

Did not even check in to the hotel. The reviews are extremely miss leading, there are no shops or restaurants within walking distance.The location of the hotel is not safe either. We were followed from the bus stop to the entrance of the hotel by three guys on bikes. Once we arrived, it was evident that the entrance and the whole surrounding area was under construction. To get to the entrance it did require guests to walk on a gravel driveway, which damaged my suitcase and a wheel broke off. The drop off bus is walking distance to the hotel, but the bus to go into Geneva was 10-15 minute walk along a busy street due to the pedestrian walkways were under construction. The bus (61) then takes one hour to get into Geneva’s city center, very inconvenient location.

There's a big road work in front of the hotel, making it hard to get in and out. Lucky we were there on week end, so there's no building activity. Shops around the area were closed probably because of the road work. Staff are friendly and helpful, they speak english. Room's dated, but spacious. Carpet's worn out. Bed's comfortable, with no extra pillow. Overall cleanliness is okay.

Nice and basic hotel, despite construction
Overall positive experience, but the road in front of the hotel is under construction and causes continual traffic jams (with subsequent honking). Staff was pleasant, even if they didn't initially have record of my pre-paying for the room. It was quickly resolved, though, with an apology.

Great stop off in a nice hotel
Ideal for our overnight stop. We didn't arrive until late through travelling, quick and easy check in. Room was clean, had a massive bed which was very comfortable and Large TV. Plenty of parking spaces in private parking for hotel. Bathroom smelt a little but seemed clean. Had a lovely walk in shower! Wifi wasn't great. Breakfast was amazing! Everything you could want from a continental breakfast! It's not the cheapest of hotels as ended up costing about £85 for the night with breakfast but we enjoyed our stop off.

Good hotel.
Simple fit out but clean, large TV, air conditioned and comfortable bed. Town centre is close by and offers better meals and other ammenities than one might expect from the main street the hotel is on.

Ok for one night
Needed a hotel close to Geneva Airport just for one night. This hotel was ok for that, but would not want to stay for longer. I would probably pay a bit more and stay at a better hotel if I was choosing again. When I booked I requested a no smoking room, which we were allocated, but when we got to the room someone had obviously been smoking in there. We reported this to reception and they explained that although rooms are non smoking, not all guests respect this! We were given a different room which was better. The hotel should charge guests for the room to be properly cleaned if they ignore the rules. Overall the hotel is a bit tired and very basic. Although there is free car parking, it only holds about 20 cars, which is not very good for the size of the hotel. If it is full they offer secure parking for a charge - not ideal.
