Although the B and B is up above the town, we loved the location. It gave us the opportunity to feel the back alleys where the towns people live. We laughed every time we climbed the 350+ stairs and were grateful that it gave us the opportunity to eat more of the amazing food and not feel nearly as guilty.
Tiziana and Antonio were very helpful hosts and we thoroughly enjoyed our room, Diana.

There is no signage for the hotel and the access driveway is hairy to say the least. Once there, ditch the car. Restaurant on site is expensive and short on choice. Eat at the hotel next door for good food, extensive menu and reasonable prices. Access to the sea is by a couple of hundred steps and no beach.

We debated about renting a villa higher up the town but, decided to go with the Covo. Boy, are we glad we did! The Covo has the best location in Positano for getting around combined with an amazing view. The hotel is classically Mediterranean and the food is excellent (best pizza we had in Italy).

My wife and I stayed in the hotel with our baby son. The hotel is impeccable - it's perched high above the Mediterranean with amazing views of the water and the City of Amalfi. The room was spacious and very well maintained, we used room service a lot - the dinner on balcony is amazing.

The room was very clean and comfortable. We had a balcony with superb views of Amalfi and the sea. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was excellent. The pool area on the roof terrace was very clean. Plenty of sun beds and again lovely views of Amalfi and the sea.
Be aware that parking is not owned by the hotel and is a short walk away. It is best to go into the hotel before parking your car (in Luna parking - public car park) as the hotel will provide you with a form that gets you a discounted long stay parking rate. The parking facility is very good, clean and safe.

Excellent hotel and the staff were always friendly and ready to help. Food in the hotel was great too. Only disappointment was our air con stopped working one night and they were unable to reset it from their computer system until the next day.
