"Everything was wonderful. The room was clean and spacious. We had a balcony that looked out over the beach. The beds were comfortable and the air conditioning worked well. The breakfast was delicious. We also appreciated the elevator for our luggage. The pool on the top floor was small but very nice."

"The value of this hotel was great. It's situated at the top of Positano so walking down and back up from the town center was quite a trek! No need to go to the gym! The room was decent. A bit dated but clean overall. Nothing to rave about. The mattress was nice and firm and the pillows were amazing. We were well rested. We were situated at the end of the hall, so we did not have neighbours at one end and our friends were next door. Very quiet. Didn't get the chance to use the amenities but from our room's view, the pool looked amazing with the backdrop of Positano. Was happy that we got upgraded for free to a room with a view. Breakfast was only ok. Not terrible. All staff at the hotel were super friendly. I would stay here again."

"The hotel is beautiful, stunning views! Breakfast and dinner at the hotel restaurant is very good. Do not recommend booking the annex hotel room apartment across the street from the property. Loud noise including road noise at night. Sea window view, no patio or balcony view."

"We've stayed at a lot of hotels, but Hotel Montemare is in a league of its own. From the moment we arrived until the moment we left, the staff made us feel genuinely cared for. The service was the best we've ever experienced. It's the little touches that made it unforgettable: coming back each evening to find a bottle of champagne chilling in our fridge, and ending our days in the hot tub watching the sun go down over the ocean. Thank you to the whole team for making our time in Positano so special. We'll be back. 🇮🇹"
