Good location! Clean! Breakfast very good! Room door locks opened during the night on their Own not secure! Bathtubs very awkward and slippery!

There was a lot of clean towels and they were huge. Didn’t like the plumbing and drainage was slow, especially in the shower and sink. Getting to and from the rooms were a little confusing. But overall it was a great stay.

The staff at this hotel were very pleasant and while they tried to help, we reported numerous problems over the course of our short stay, only some of which were addressed. Positives: great location, friendly staff, close to old Salerno and the historic shopping area of Vietri with its quaint ceramics shops. And the hotel contains a Michelin 1-star restaurant, which was great. Negatives: the property is old and tired. It really is in need of a major upgrade to bring it up to contemporary standards. Our room was reasonably clean, but everything was faded, broken down, and out of date. The internet in the hotel worked only intermittently, for example.

We chose this hotel because of the location, reviews and private beach offering. BUT what was experienced by us was not what the reviews and hotel advertised. Both Friday and Saturday night there was an outside disco Party from 12pm to 5am!!! It was extremely loud and when we called the front desk absolutely no apology was given. The front desk was extremely unhelpful when I called to say our fridge was not cold at all. All they said was that’s the best they have. The beds were the hardest I have ever slept in and when you add that with the loudest beat music, there was no sleep for us at this hotel. Would never stay here again or promote this hotel in any way. The Private Beach they promote also had a use fee which was as ridiculous.

I did stay at the old part of the hotel , the shower was horrible , go water everywhere. But the new part of the hotel is very good . Also restaurants are very good !

We stayed 5 nights and from day one there was loud music from a private party or from the Hotel beach club that would end until 4 am. We complained to the staff because it was very loud as if it was outside our window. They offered us earplugs! I would not recommend this hotel to anyone!

Decent hotel. You're paying for a view. For the cost of the hotel, you think it'd be free to use the hotel's private beach, but it's 20 euro a day, per person even if you don't want chairs and umbrella. It's 30 euro if you want to be close to the water, per person.

I chose a Standard Room with a partial sea view. I did not realize the other "part" of my view would be a busy shipping port. Also, even though AC was included, it could not be controlled by the occupant, and my room got rather warm.

the hotel concierge Carmine was wonderful. he helped us a lot even before our arrival and made our stay in the area successful. the very pleasant town Vietri is near by the hotel and has some very good restaurants.

The 1st room offered had such a terrible odour it would have been impossible for anyone to stay in it The 2nd room had 2 single beds and was much smaller than what we paid for. We were told nothing else available unless we paid for an upgrade! Refused to pay any more $$ and was shown another small room and given ultimatum that this was the last offer! No apologies from anyone! Very poor customer service!

The hotel was modern for its location and clean. It was quiet, and the staff was pleasant. Breakfast was always stocked with delicious pastries. The view is fantastic! It could use a couple of updates but overall a very nice hotel.

This hotel is on one end of the Amalfi Coast, still about two hours away from Sorrento and Positano. Easy train ride to Salerno. One hour ride to Napoli Cute town with an ode to the ceramics made, cute shops , food in the town was good, especially seafood The staff at the hotel were not so friendly and many did not speak any English. There is a Michelin Star restaurant on the property. The beach is huge, water was nice, but very rocky.. It appears that the hotel is going thru some renovations. One part looked more modern, the area we were placed in looked older, smelled moldy and stuffy. When asked to have someone come and check a faulty shower, no one came. The worst part of where we stayed (Floor minus 3). There is a huge night club and the music was going on till 4:30 am in the morning, with the DJ speaking all night. It was horrendous, when you have been out all day.

WILL RECOMMEND
The hotel was amazing; clean, well taken care of, location was IDEAL. Downfall was the loud disco beach music Saturday night's until 5 AM and Sunday's until 1 AM(which we are told are a weekly occurrence). The Michelin Star restaurant was delicious and highly recommend. The beach restaurant was nothing special; pizza was extremely disappointing. Location, cleanliness was outstanding and the breakfast was the traditional "Italian" style, just make sure if you want coffee, to get there earlier because there is only 1 machine for the 130+ rooms that they have. Upgrade your stay to a Junior Suite, you will have an updated room with a in-room sauna. Beach access was very easy (you won't find hotels with elevator access directly on the beach to omit the stairs) which was very convenient. Accessible for everyone because that is not the usual case in the Amalfi Coast. 1.72 KM walk (17 mins) to the Marina that has all the Ferries necessary to check out the other towns.

The property is on the beach, the beach was nice. The property is adjacent to the Port of Salerno, which was completely visible from my balcony. We had to close the balcony door at night to cut down on the noise from the port. .

We are disappointed as rooms were not as displayed online. Rooms were very old and not up kept with scratches and black smears in the wall. We did not stay here and left making alternative arrangement.ls. Expedia was supposed to be in touch with us regarding getting our money back as they contacted the hotel and we still haven’t heard back. Please contact us to follow up as soon as possible. Dated rooms with old fixtures and fittings. Had to be moved as 2 rooms had broken/cracked bath tubs. Kept clean but towels and sheets have holes in them and are generally falling apart. Mini bar didn’t keep drinks cool. Fire exit door kept open. Photos are not the actual rooms. There are some very nice and newer rooms on upper floors but appear to be used for Italian guests. Smelt of gas most of the time we was there. We did raise it with staff but no one explained why or did anything about it. Very unpleasant. Work men were cutting down trees and shrubs outside balcony. No warning given to guests. Just lots of men abseiling and lots of noise. Issue with privacy. Beach is lovely. But rules on use and costs are not obvious. Very confusing. Lots of people appear to be using it without paying anything. However hotel guests were expected to pay. Beach staff gave conflicting information compared to staff at reception, staff handing out towels or staff in bar. The hotel asks you for a deposit on arrival or places a block on your card. Not detailed on Expedia advert. The terms of the contract you are expected to sign is in Italian and there are no translations available. Poor photocopy. Google was unable to translate. Clearly not compliant with EU GDPR. Most of the staff were lovely. Some need hospitality and customer service training. They clearly appear to not want to be there. I wouldn’t say that this is a 4star hotel. Stayed in better 3 star hotels.
