The property is an ancient convent with a lovely Chaple. The grounds a wildly planted with many different and interesting ponds, large fountains, and plantings. "The hotel is just at the entrance to the old city from the Gare du Arles less than a 10 minute walk with luggage. It offers a nice breakfast buffet, I took the cheaper option, coffee, juice and various breads and jam. It is at the base of the hill that leads up to the Amphitheatre and other sites. There are several restaurants within a short walk. You can also take a nice walk along the Rhone for a scenic reflex of the day."
