"This cabin is in a beautiful, wooded setting. It is very quiet except for all the bird songs. It has wonderful outdoor spaces but remember to use bug spray. I had a tick crawl up my leg when sitting by the firepit. The inside was quaint and clean with all the linens, pillows and paper products needed. There is even soap and dryer sheets to do laundry. I wish I would have noticed the dryer handle was missing before I put in laundry, but my husband was able to get the door open with a wire coat...

"The cabin was very clean and well stocked. The location is absolutely beautiful and peaceful! The hot tub was so nice, especially in the evenings. It is really close to Lake Ft. Smith State Park, and Devil’s Den State Park is only about 25 minutes away. Both are beautiful parks and have great hiking trails. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!"

"We loved the location of this home. It was rural enough to be quiet. Had deer in field and no neighbors but was close to several small towns with entertainment close by. Devils Den park, Saturday night races, big lake with boat rentals all in different directions from house. Would defiantly recommend to others."

"Booked this house for the weekend to visit my son’s family for the weekend. The first thing I noticed when we pulled up to the house was the view of the river, so beautiful especially at sunset. The house was clean and beautifully decorated. The property is quite old, but house has been updated just enough to offer functionality while maintaining the old world charm. Awesome touches throughout the house- water bowl for furry family, stocked spice cabinet, baby spoons in the silverware drawer....

"We had a great stay visiting state parks in the area. The hot tub was wonderful after days spent hiking in the chilly rain. Communication with the host was prompt and helpful. I will agree with a few other reviews that the futon was a lot more comfortable than the bed, but for a warm, dry place where dogs are welcome, it can't be beat."
