Disappointing stay, avoid at all costs!
Disappointing stay. Hotel was run down and very tired. No reception after 1pm until 6pm and then again nothing after 9pm. Photos on the website look like they were taken quite some time ago. Our room was extremely hot and uncomfortable. If you want a/c they charge 15 euros per night. To use the safe 5 euros. Even though the windows were closed we were bitten numerous times by mosquitos. The bathroom was shabby, the shower doors didn't close properly and were off the runners, the shower didn't drain away properly, the window opposite the entrance to the shower was clear and not frosted glass, the toilet was leaking and made a loud flushing noise all night long, the hotel cockerel starts crowing at 5.20am onwards. The bed is very uncomfortable and the pillows are lumpy and only one per person. Breakfast was sparse and very basic and the orange juice tasted more like orange squash so avoid. One of the worst properties we have stayed in so a return visit is a definite no no. This is not a 3 star property in our opinion.

This hotel is in a nice building and space, it's a bit out of town which is fine if you have a car. The breakfast is fine. It has only a few guest rooms that is good as well but biggest issue is with the beds. They are not very comfortable so it is tough to get a good night's sleep. Overall, I would not stay here again.

Not recommended at all !
The service of the hotel was very low , they even charge you extra for the AC ! They change the towels within 3-4 days... Also the breakfast was almost zero ! They are not helpful at all everything is on extra charges.. Not recommended at all.. They need a new management for sure!

Hôtel agréable.
Nous avons passé 3 jours à Alghero. J'avais un doute en réservant cet hôtel en rapport aux avis sur le site. Erreur!!! L'hôtel typique était très agréable, bonne literie, pas de bruit , bonne nourriture et le personnel au top. Petite visite aux poules et balade dans le jardin avec notre fille de 2an. Je recommande cet hôtel.

O hotel é uma casa bem antiga, as camas era ruins, o banheiro estava entupido, quando tomavamos banho parecia uma piscina, falei com um funcionario do hotel e ele comentou que tinha este problema mesmo, mas ainda nao conseguiram arrumar. Para sair a noite, era um pouco sinistro, nao tinha iluminaçao na rua. Pontos positivos, perto da praia e quarto bem espaçoso.

Our stay at Villa Pia Maria was a dream. It started with a friendly reception at check in, continued with drinks in the courtyard and finished with a short walk to a beautiful beach with a great restaurant. With the center of Algerho just a 20min walk along the coast or a short bus ride, Villa Pia Maria is the perfect place to stay. Rooms cleans and comfortable but no lift to the third floor!

Gebouw is prachtig, maar in slechte staat van onderhoud. Ontbijt is de slechtste dat we ooit gehad hebben. Voor alles moet je bijbetalen; € 8,- voor schone handdoeken, € 10,- voor dag airco, € 5,- per dag voor kluisje. Wifi niet op de kamers.

Prachtig, verantwoord gerestaureerde villa
Prettig, gunstig gelegen villa. Ca 400 m van het strand, en km of 3 van het historisch stads centrum, en een km of 10 van het vliegveld. Klein minpuntje: de bedden zijn veel te zacht. Andere gasten hadden dit ook doorgegeven. Zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel.

Un Cartello per l tutto, vuoi la psw del wifi?15eu ma funziona solo in un piccolo corridoio nn in camera.15 euro al giorno x l'aria condizionata, 5eu al di per il frigo mini bar che non raffreddava moltissimo,etc.molto positiva la pulizia della camera anche se molto piccola e ti permette ad andare in spiaggia a piedi.

Da das Hotel sehr günstig war, ist das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis gut. Für einen kurzen Aufenthalt ohne große Erwartungen durchaus empfehlenswert.

Skulle ingå städning, frukost med mera.Vilket det inte gjorde när vi kom fram. Mycket dålig standard på bungalowen, (läckande dusch, stopp i avlopp, dörr och fönster som lätt kunde öppnas utifrån, extremt dåliga sängar, allmänt skabbigt! enligt personalen var rummen mycket bättre... Mycket otrevlig personal som inte alls var tillmötesgående, efter mycket om och men skulle vi få frukost dagen efter. För att sedan kontakta hotels.com och lösa problemet. Vilket dagen efter slutar med att personalen surt säger att vi kan betala för frukost resten av veckan eller checka ut. Vi bestämmer oss för att checka ut! samt de svarar inte när hotels.com ringer (de ringer för att hotels.com ska kunna garantera oss att de bara tar betalt för en natt). Så jag får ge receptionisten min egen telefon så de kan prata....då kan han plötsligt inte engelska längre utan vill bara prata italienska..När vi väl ska betala måste vi betala för frukosten.

Helt OK hotell för en veckas sol och bad. Fem minuters promenad t stranden m en bra strandrestaurang. Cirka 35 minuters promenad in till Alghero. OK frukost. Synd att det inte fanns servering på hotellets mysiga innergård.

Fint hotell ! Ingen "turistmaskin", men særegent !
Vi hadde et svært hyggelig opphold på Pia Maria. De anmeldelsene vi har lest om hotellet er ikke rettferdige. Rommene vår helt ok, beliggenheten helt ok, servicen var topp, og det var en avslappet god stemning på det hele. Hvis du /dere ser etter noe annet enn en turistmaskin er dette et godt tilbud.

Gut für eine Nacht und nahe am Flughgafen
Für eine Nacht um Alghero zu besuchen und dann weiter zum Flughafen Alghero! Die Lage ist dafür super. Zu Fuß ist es zu weit zur Stadt... Nicht das neueste Hotel aber hat was... Schlosscharme. Für einen günstigen Preis absolut empfehlenswert!

Specielt hotel.
Bygget som fængsel i 1860. Efter renovering er fængselstremmerne bibeholdt i stueetagen. Værelserene er ovenpå med udsigt til den store have og øvrige område. Desværre meget lydt. Landlig beliggenhed. ½ times gang til Alghero og 8 min. til god strand. Reception og café (ingen restaurant) åbent lidt tilfældigt, men altid muligt at komme ind "efter lukketid" med egne nøgler, da hotelområdet låses af for natten. Meget hjælpsomt personale og hyggelig (fængsels)gård til caféliv. Bil en fordel, især ved spisetid. Overordnet er listeprisen for høj.

Uitstekend hotel, zeker boeken!
Mooi verzorgd hotel, vriendelijk personeel, ruime en schone kamers. Het hotel ligt ver uit het centrum, wat een nadeel is als je geen vervoer hebt. Als je een auto hebt gehuurd (of fietsen), dan is dit hotel zeker de juiste keuze. Wij komen hier zeker terug!

Rolige omgivelser
Dejligt lille hotel med kun 15 værelser i rolige omgivelser og alligevel tæt på Alghero som er nem at komme til med bus og stranden i gåafstand. Værelserne rengjort dagligt. Godt udgangpunkt. Personalet meget hjælpsomt.
