The motel is clean, amazing location, and comfy. it is older, the gardens are a little overgrown and the pool area looks like someone's backyard pool area, but I would come back. It's charming and fits the Hahndorf them. 3.5 stars is my score.

Great value for money in a brilliant location. Only small issue was air conditioner in our room was a little noisy. Would stay again.

1) No checkin support 2) No checkout support even at 9:30 am 3) No drinking water provided or basics like shampoo / body wash 4) Absolutely no service to support for anything you might need during the stay. At this property you are on your own for any issue you might face

Hi Tanuj,Thank you for your review and we are sorry that you had have no good experience staying with us.Being at the regional area our reception is not operating 24 hours a day. The Lodge is open from 1pm - 8pm and our sister property is opening 7.30am - 6.30pm 7days a week.As you were a late arrival (after 10pm) we had communicated with you and emailed you the safe code with location of safe box and instruction a day before you arrive. With regards to the shampoo and body wash, it is provided and placed together with towels on the beds, 2 sets on the queen bed and 1 set on the single bed. There is 2 bottle of spring water in mini bar, cost 3.50 each just like any other hotel charged. There is kettle in the room that you can also boil your own drinking water.Kind regards,Guest Services

There is no reception staff at the actual hotel. After getting a taxi direct to the door we had to walk with 2 suitcases and the wheelchair to another hotel to store our luggage. Then had to take the luggage back to the first hotel in the afternoon, no offer of assistance.mwhen check8ng out no one at reception again. Luckily able to secure a shower chair when a staff member was on site after 6pm

Had everything we needed. Comfy beds, microwave and fridge. Heater. Although brick walls, could hear the the next door's TV at 4am. Close proximity to everything. Easy parking. Was permitted to check in an hour early. Would stay here again.

Central to Hahndorf.. But Noisy..we could overhear many conversations from either side units, and a complete business phone call with confidential details.. Shower needs urgent attention!! Taps drip, washers(!!) need replacing Disabled shower not fit for purpose..just a standard shower with a curtain..shower rose out of reach, taps too high, soap dish out of reach..floor very (very!!) slippery .. no flat dry surfaces?? Water way too hot!!!! Over70˚C .. Water in pipes very noisy, both in unit and neighbouring units..both shower and toilet and hand basin Handrail blocked by sink..very difficult to stand using handrail..very poor design!! ..barely usable..made the start to the day a real effort .. Bed..saggy obviously well used..3inches difference between ends and middle..(and squeaky!! with every move) Needs a sink in the ‘kitchen’..filling kettle from hand basin ?? Insufficient car parks..disabled park was taken by cars without disabled tag displayed .. other nights all parks taken by 7pm .. Overall ..we won’t be back -we have tried all Haus offerings (over five visits)..all OK ....BUT.. So when we return will go to TheOaks next time ..

Staff did not seem to care when I reported a cockroach crawling on the floor as soon as we entered our room. At the en of our phone conversation, the reception person had not hung up the phone and I overheard her colleagues say “what a nightmare I was” … they did not really apologise or even offer any compensation for our consideration. Overall a very bad experience.

Good position. Small room. Tea and coffee and microwave facilities but nowhere to wash your dishes except bathroom handbasin which I thought was unhygienic. Fridge leaks. Reasonably priced for what you get but would probably stay somewhere else next time.

Property is in a pleasant setting, pool lovely and room basic but nice with back outdoor sitting area if you can get the door open. Disappointed in the thinness of the walls fittings are getting dated and plumbing is very noisy.

Simple rooms with everything you need just off the main street so walking distance to everywhere, no need to drive. Loved getting into the pool after walking most of the day. Definitely a weekender option for those who are looking to just be present in their lives.
