Even the worst room in the Swissotel (which I probably had given the rate I paid) is better than many of the rooms in other places. I simply love the stylish way the place works and the welcoming ambiance created by the staff.
I have stayed here many times - and usually with executive club access - and this is my fav place in the city.
Nice place close to subway and beach. Has wonderful bars and jazz club next to the hotel.
The hotel was very clean, quiet and had all you need for your stay
This is an expensive place to stay. But worth it
The only glitch was despite request for a twin room we got a king but we quickly got the correct room, which was lovely (would have got a 5 except the shower screen was a bit dirty down the bottom). The hotel has a very luxurious feel and love the florence broadhurst art work in the halls. Great facilities. The high tea looked fantastic but has to be for next time. The staff recommendation of Bambini for dinner was an excellent choice. All the staff were friendly and helpful. And the location and convenience is unbeatable. Definitely will consider staying there again
great views from our harbour view room. We had a king bed, ensuite, bar fridge, giant tv, a desk and a couple of comfy chairs to chill out in. The room was clean, comfy and air-conditioned. We had enough room to set our porta-cot up. The staff were lovely and valet parking came in very handy as we were only a street back from the harbour we walked everywhere. The train station is also only a couple of hundred metres away incase you want public transport
Stayed for 2 nights at the Amora hotel. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Room was lovely and even had a view of the Opera House.
Only fault being that if you did want to watch telly you couldn't see it from the bed due to the doors of the TV unit, we didn't watch any so it was no big deal. Overall, our stay was very enjoyable and would definitely stay again.
