I was very impressed when I stayed here for the first time a couple of months ago and on my second visit, once again, it more than lived up to my expectations. Located on 57th between 6 & 7 the hotel is slap bang in the middle of Midtown with easy access to shopping and the subway.
We all recognise that hotel rooms in Manhattan are on the small side, but this one is well designed, very comfortable and full of great features that make you feel a little more special than many of the boutique style hotels. The touch controls next to the bed made the functionality of the room easy to manage, the mini bar is well stocked with high end beverages and snacks, the espresso maker ensure's that you get an appropriate caffeine fix in the morning, along with many other little touches that suggests someone has put a lot of thought into this.
I found the staff very friendly and helpful, such as the doorman handing me a bottle of water as I returned from a run. The Attachè service was polite, quick and efficient and I used them on numerous occasions for a wide range of services.
The 24/7 room service worked very well and even at 3am the food was very good and still hot when it arrived.
I thought that having a restaurant and bar (The Wayfarer) slightly separated from the main hotel is also a sensible idea in my opinion as there is not the constant stream on non-residents wandering through the lobby. It kept the hustle and bustle of the Wayfarer away from the cool calmness of the hotel.

We could not fault this hotel. All staff were very helpfull, approachable and friendly at all times.
In particular the Concierge service was first class.
Rooms were of a very high standard.
Soho area of New York is great place to base yourself in New York.
Lovely hidden hotel in the garment district in New York. Great staff, beautiful quirky hotel. Fantastic rooftop bar with a view of the Empire State building. Only stayed 2 nights so didn't get a chance to sample the food.

This is by far my best hotel experience in NYC and the location is superb. We went to celebrate my mom's birthday and they provided us with everything we asked for. They gave my mom a pleasant surprise with the birthday cake and flowers that I ordered, and delivery timing was perfect! Rooms are reasonably spacious (you know NYC hotels...), very clean and comfortable. Highly recommended.

I thought it was a beautiful experience and I would recommend the Conrad to all my friends that plan on visiting New York. I was especially please to see the Orlando Magic basketball players staying there as well.
We stayed at Langham on our visit to New York, we were celebrating our 20th wedding anniversary. The entire experience exceeded on every level. The hotel offers flexible check in and check out times, and offers a personal assistant who will help you with any details, from directions, restaurant reservations, tours , shows and in our case having flowers delivered to our room.
