"5 Star Hotel fantastic location"
This was a special treat for my 50th birthday. We were treated like royalty from the minute we walked through the door. The breakfast catered for every persons needs; there was even Champagne for a special occassion. It was faultless; I would highly recommend this beautiful hotel, which has been newly refurbished to a high specification. There is also a spa and pool.

"Lovely hotel with lovely staff!"
Stayed here over New Year and the standard of service from all the staff was excellent - not everyone wants to work over festive times but if they weren't happy to be there you'd never have known it - they were delightful and we had a very happy and comfortable stay. Best hotel we've stayed in Amsterdam and we'll definitely return!! Thank you Hotel Pulitzer!

"Well located, helpful staff"
Very helpful staff though a number of restaurant recommendations for lunch were closed. Very clean, well appointed rooms.

"Amsterdam treat"
Found this lovely hotel after loads of research, and wasn't disappointed. Was in Amsterdam for a birthday treat for my wife and The Dylan proved to be a major part of the treat. Centrally located with easy access to museums and restaurants plus in the heart of the boutique shopping area. This hotel is a find. The staff are there to make your stay enjoyable and welcoming from the minute you walk in the door until the moment you leave. But not suffocating - they have their care and attention set at the perfect level. The reception area, lounge and bar are comfortable, the restaurant inviting with tasty fare, and the room? - well all we can say is fantastic! Spacious and all we could wish for. Thanks The Dylan, we hope to return

Pocket Guide: Amsterdam Canal Ring 5 stars Hotels

The classic Amsterdam image of stately canals, the Canal Loop is principally the Herengracht and Keizersgracht, lined with gracious tall 17th and 18th-century houses. Some of these are now museums, most notably the eccentric Kattenkabinet. The Amstel is a more down-to-earth waterway, lined with houseboats and famous for its classic much–photographed Magere Brug (Skinny Bridge). The floating Flower Market is also a much-loved canal feature.
