The room is amazing - very modern and pretty. The staff was great as well and very helpful in arranging reservations and figuring out where to visit in barcelona. Only minor concern is that the rooms don't have irons and that could be problematic for some people who get their clothes wrinkled in their luggages.

My husband and I have just returned from one of our best hotel experiences in all of our years of travel at the Hotel DO Placa Reial! The staff were so welcoming and helpful. You really feel as if you are staying at the home of really good friends or family. Our room was located above the hotel entrance, which was nice and quiet at all times. The room was a good size and had everything you could possibly want, including very comfortable beds, fluffy duvets, lots of pillows (including a pillow menu), a fridge with a variety of free drinks that are refilled each day (and more often with just your favourites upon request), a safe, TV and a large bathroom. In the bathroom were Molten Brown products to use in both the bathtub and large walk-in shower. There were also bathrobes and slippers supplied to use during our stay. The included breakfast was another wonderful experience to look forward to each morning. During the winter months, you can take breakfast in the basement restaurant or in your room and we greatly enjoyed both. The breakfast menu had a wide choice of hot and cold food and drinks. Everything was freshly prepared to order and so yummy. I really enjoyed the scrambled eggs, bacon, fresh fruit mix, fresh baked pastry basket, fresh orange juice and thick Spanish hot chocolate. The location of the hotel is also very beautiful in a palm tree lined square. Everything you could possibly want to see and do is a short walk away. Really looking forward to returning!

Looking for a central location in Barcelona? Well the Hotel Majestic Residence is the place to be.
Located on Passeig de Gracia where all the high end shops abound. Go one block east or west or wander down any side street and you'll find several dining options. Gaudi's two houses are a few minutes walk away.
The Residence offers daily fresh towel service as well as weekly cleaning as well as 24hour room service, as the hotel property is just across the street.
We had a 2-bed 2 bathroom apartment and it was perfect. 12 foot ceilings, very quite and had every amenity you require for a stay of over a week.
There is a fabulous tapas restaurant next door, but you have to sit at the bar...so you can see and choose your tapas. Don't eat outside with all the tourists. Pizza is fab too. Not to mention all the other and better restaurant in Barcelona are within walking distance as well.
We will definitely return.

We stay in many 5 star hotels around the world mostly because of our work as touring musicians. Some of these hotels have a questionable high rating but definitely not the Miramar. Our premium room was very spacious with a massive bed, huge balcony with incredible views of Barcelona and the bay and gorgeous bathroom suite. The staff were friendly, helpful, spoke perfect English and also provided a glass of cava on arrival. The spa area was gorgeous and when we used it we were the only people in there (although this may be the time of day/year)
We didn't eat at all in the hotel as it wasn't included in the price so we preferred to eat in the town but we did have delicious cocktails!
The only thing that would have been the icing on the cake is if they upgrade the iPhone dock to iphone 5 comparability- I missed being able to put some music on. Other than this one little detail I am extremely happy to recommend this place! Enjoy!

We simply loved our stay at Casa Fuster. An architectural gem at the top of Passaeig de Gracia just two blocks from the Diagonal.
Room was spacious, well designed and modern, yet stylish. Service was good. So was the view of Sagrada Familia basilica from the window.
Already looking forward to staying there again...
