"Unique hotel convenient for Central Station & City"
Very unique hotel - full of interesting artworks as well as offering friendly staff, outstanding service, and convenience of immediate proximity to Central Station just across the street (half hour train ride from Schiphol) and a convenient start point for access to all parts of Amsterdam Centrum and its canals network.

I have wanted to stay here for a few months and got the opportunity. It is a great old building with amazingly modern features inside. I had a superb duplex room facing the Main Street and it was very comfortable indeed, very high tech yet exuded luxury too. The hotel can be a little confusing in its layout but the staff are extremely attentive and are always willing to help . The situation is great too, just around the corner from the Rijksmuseum and Van Gogh museum, and the Concertegebouw... A very calm and refined and upmarket part of town. I'd definately stay here again.

I initially chose the Hilton as I was running the marathon and wanted to be close to the start at the Olympic Stadium. We found out it was also easy to get the tram into the centre and to the museums as well as great restaurants within walking distance. Staff were very friendly and helpful and we all enjoyed the fabulous breakfasts. Definitely recommend

Just returned from our short stay at the Okura Hotel and it was a fabulous experience. All staff are very professional, helpful and friendly.
We stayed in 2 rooms which was the family package rate and this was more than comfortable for 2 adults and 2 children (both under the age of 10). The rooms were spotless.
Buffet breakfast was great, all needs and wants were met. Again all staff at breakfast were very attentive to anything that was needed.
We dined at the main restaurant three times and the food was delicious. My children tend to be a bit fussy with their food and they kept on asking if we could eat at the restaurant, so that was one less thing to worry about.
It was our first trip to Amsterdam and the whole experience was a very memorable one.
