"Atmosphere is important and the staff went above and beyond to be friendly and helpful. We went out of season so that may have made a difference to the dynamic. There was calm and peace both important to us. The breakfast was superb although I wanted to give some tips as to how to make the best scrambled eggs! You had to choose your time to use the pool as not always available but the gym was generally quiet. We are looking forward to returning next year."
"Convenient location, very reasonably priced, friendly staff, clean and well equipped. Decent, comfortable bar offering a good choice of bar food. The accommodation was a little dated in areas, however would 100% recommend this hotel over one of the larger, more expensive chain options."
"Friendly, efficient check in. Room spotless and comfortable. Food very good. Only complaint; no non alcoholic beverages available for first nights dinner……cider/0 Guinness "
"Convenient for the Cruise terminal. We got a short taxi from the hotel to the Terminal. Easy walking from the hotel to restaurants and shops. Nice gym and nice hotel"
"The room was very spacious and clean. Great toiletries too. The offer decaf tea in the room too. Breakfast was excellent with lots of choice and very tasty. Staff were all wonderful"
"Simple, but clean and comfortable. Temperature of room good and double glazing helped with road noise. Good service, convenient for city centre, will likely stay again."
