The hotel was in a perfect location for exploring Toulouse by foot. Very close to one the airport shuttle drop off points. The reception are was beutifully cool, the rooms was contemporary, clean and comfortable. The staff, when we needed to ask a question were helpful and pleasant.
The Novotel Toulouse Centre Wilson is a 4-star hotel and listed historic monument located in the heart of Toulouse city …More
This is a standard business-type hotel, clearly geared towards the conference trade arising from the conference centre attached to the back of it. The hotel is very slightly dated but perfectly adequate for our needs, the best thing being the location - the airport shuttle stops just outside and it is also just next to a metro station (though the city centre is within fairly easy walking distance). We didn't try the breakfast, using the very handy supermarket just next door instead (there's also a McDonalds). Negatives were that there were no English speaking TV channels (surprising when they no doubt have many foreign guests) and the WIFI, though free, kept dropping off. Also, there was no iron in the room. We would go back again, though - Toulouse is a fantastic city!
I frequently travel to S. France and do so through Toulouse. The city is great and this hotel is unbeatable for location, efficiency, helpful and FRIENDLY staff. Thus I schedule my stay here whenever I can. I stayed at the "Carmen" room this time around. The rooms are a bit old, which is part of the hotel's charm from my view, but the curtains were a bit worn and the Nespresso machine (another part of the hotel's charm, if minor, from my view) did not work -- to my disappointment. Fortunately, there are coffee and cookies at the lobby. I have not tried their signature (Michelin 1-star) restaurant, but have often tried their Brasserie. Still good but perhaps the service was competent but more casual, not to say aloof/contemptuous/borderline/sultry than previous visits. My French language skills are high-intermediate, but this time around I was not with my wife, and French restaurants in general tend to be borderline rude when one has the audacity to request seating for "un seul couvert". It's just that, well, this is a hotel rest, and they can figure some of their guests will be traveling alone and for a high end hotel perhaps wish to do better for dinner than the corner pizzeria. Nor is it cheap... so be nice! Never mind, the hotel is overall very pleasant. Next time I will likely be there, and be with my wife, and the waiters will therefore likely be accomodating and courteous.
We had a wonderful stay in toulouse . The hotel was within easy walking distance of the centre and all the museums and galleries we wanted to visit. Everyone was very friendly and helpful , would definitely recommend a visit.
The hotel room & bed are very comfortable, Very good location, The restaurant was excellent. The hotel is next to beautiful gardens. Staff are extremely helpful. I have stayed at this hotel 3 times & I will use this hotel again in the future.
Excellent food, wonderful staff and brilliant accommodation.
A little distant from the city centre but very convenient for airport and getting to sights like Cite D'espace.
One difficulty was finding the hotel from the peripetique among very complicated local roads immediately surrounding the hotel, but worth the effort.
