When we arrived we were dissapointed to have received the wrong room. We had two twins instead of one double. The front desk initially told me there was nothing they could do about it. I came back with proof that my Expedia booking said a double room (which has a single bed pictured). They found a room with a king bed for us. I am very thankful they pulled through as I am on my honeymoon, twin beds on a honeymoon would have been terrible. I'm not sure whether the problem was on the Hotel's or Expedia's end.

We have stayed many times at The Kowloon Hotel and always have a wonderful visit. It is in an ideal location, right on top of the Metro (TST) and has a lovely view of the harbor. There are lots of shops and restaurants nearby as well. The staff are always friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. We stay in the same room every time on the 17th floor. I definitely recommend including breakfast with your room. It's fantastic!! The beds are comfortable and the rooms are an adequate size for Hong Kong. We will continue to stay in The Kowloon Hotel every time we go to Hong Kong (several times a year).
Excellent location in the heart of restaurants, cafes and bars. The staff (especially the concierge!) were extremely helpful. The room was clean, well appointed and larger than expected. The king sized bed was very comfortable. The staff stored our suitcases after checkout for the day so we could sight see, and then gave us access to the gym to shower and change before we left for the airport.
Even though the laundry took slightly longer then usual I have to say the attentiveness of the staff and attention to detail was first class. Ideal for business travellers very close to wan chai nightlife if your into that and overall a pleasant stay. Amazing views of the Kowloon side as its on the harbour !
We stayed in the Metropark Wanchai last year and were so impressed that we went back again last week.
Everything ran like clockwork - even got a "welcome back" greeting from the staff during check in. There are plenty of restaurants, supermarkets, tram and bus stops nearby. And only 5min walk to the MTR subway, or 15min to the Star Ferry. It's a great location for independent travellers.
Bathroom is excellent for this standard of hotel. Aircon in the room is noisy, so it may not be quite so good for a summer visit. And the room has limited cupboard/shelf storage space, with little storage for large suitcases.
But we'll certainly be going there next time we visit Hong Kong.

The hotel is located conveniently between two subway stations, and is in a charming area with many eateries, restaurants and quaint shops. Hotel guests are even provided with a mobile phone with local network at no cost, and it even allows one to make international calls to a few countries free of charge. The room is small but comfortable and has everything one needs.
"Very goog hotel with better than expected location"
Once we got acclimated decided the location was very convenient for shopping and seeing the sites. Our 29th floor had fab view and by paying a little extra for that and part of the hotel we had access to the 39th floor club lounge with snacks and soft drinks all day and free alcoholic beverages and some food during happy hour from 5-7. Great view there too to watch the city lights come on in Hong Kong island
