I would say that the only "drawback" to this hotel, is the location if you're looking for "night life." I was there for a conference for work, so I didn't care. It is of note that it's about a mile to the closest restaurants, stores, etc., (not connected with the hotel). They have a "sky walk" from the hotel to the beach, so you don't have to worry about crossing the road, which does have considerable traffic. The beach area is small; however, the hotel does provide lounge chairs and towels.
Walked into the room and stopped dead. Such a fabulous view from the window. Panoramic view. Hugh Taylor State Park next door so no buildings to block our view.
Staff great. Very friendly and helpful
Made us feel at home and relaxed.
We were very pleased with this hotel - we loved that we could walk directly onto a beautiful piece of ft Lauderdale beach or lounge by their pool and listen to the waves.... It is also just a little over a mile away from a great downtown area with bars, shopping and dining. We will return.
This was a nice clean hotel that was right across from the port - perfect if you are leaving on a cruise. From the moment you walk in, everything one is gracious & the lobby is well maintained. The check -in check-out process was seamless & the room I stayed in was spotless as well as offered an excellent view of the harbor. Also, it's across from a walgreens - for those things you forgot at home & need & a full & fun outdoor restaurant!
