"Fantastic Staff and Lovely Hotel in Excellent Spot"
From the initial contact to book a cot and parking space before we went to picking up the car when we left the service was fantastic. At check in they considered the simple thing like we'd been allocated a room with a shower and as we had a baby would we prefer a room with a bath. They noted we had a baby in the room and were offered arrangements for warming milk etc. The staff learnt and used our names, especially the baby's and made us feel very welcome and provided a personal service.
The rooms were very comfortable with an excellent hair dryer....always a pet hate of mine when you have those silly little hair dryers which are noisy and take forever to dry your hair!
Would recommend the use of the valet parking. A bit expensive but easier in Windsor and we had a free hotel air fresher.
Free juice and sweets by reception at all times which was a nice touch.

We loved this hotel. We booked an executive room and had a very relaxing stay after a break shopping in London. The pool and surrounding areas were very nice and the room service was absolutely delicious. It was our anniversary whilst we stayed and the hotel very kindly left a card and fruit plate in our room. Would definitely recommend!

Hotel choosen due to proximity to the venue we were attending, it's close to the rail station, in the town centre, easy too find...reception was spot on, nothing was a problem, room was beyond what I thought, modern, well thought out, clean...just what we needed, you cannot fault this cheap, modern well placed hotel.
Hilton in Reading deserves it's four star rating. On arrival our daughter (2 years old) was given a small gift -pack - what a nice gesture! Hotel is beautifully decorated, room very comfortable and well equipped, we had a cot bed in the room. Staff are some of the most polite we have met, who made us feel very welcome. Breakfast was lovely with a hot and cold table. Breakfast Services was a bit chaotic as the hotel was busy but the manager apologised. Free parking in the hotel car park is a real plus as parking in Reading centre is mission impossible. There is a swimming pool that opens till 10pm. Overall, very happy with the hotel- we will definitely stay here again.
Modern hotel, large room with chairs and table. So often there is only one chair in the room which means that if there are two of you one has to use the bed.
Did not have breakfast due to early start. Would definitely return.
We had a great experience here with booking short notice for my family of five! Our rooms were very nice, and the grounds were like a postcard picture. The staff was very friendly, and our three girls loved the bikes provided for guest to explore the grounds. We a great breakfast that was included with our stay. The manor house was well kept and clean, and the staff very friendly. We enjoyed an afternoon drink on the patio outside overlooking the grounds.
The location worked well for us. It was close to Windsor Castle and made a great day trip. We would highly recommend Stoke Place.

I stayed at the Royal Berkshire while settling my daughter in boarding school. The staff was very attentive to helping me with transport and where to find things. I felt at 'home' in the evenings enjoying the offerings of dining opportunities. A very comfortable setting.
