Been here two times and i would still recommend this hotel. The rooms are very spacious and comfortable, the king size bed a plus. Great place to relax, enjoy a good service, great food and a fantastic bar/lounge for the evening time.
I will definitely return.
Stayed here for one week. Two days of business to Excel East London which took us one hour to reach going thru Central London h Sunday and one and a half hour via high way to Gatwick airport on Monday to avoid peak traffic in Central London. Room is clean, comfortable and surprising quiet and doesn't feel like staying near airport. Shuttle bus is chargeable from Airport (think it's GBP9 one way). We rented a car so travelling to Windsor Castle/Park is about 20 mins. To Central London is about 20 mins on highway + 15 mins for CBD traffic. Hotel charge GBP12 for 24 hours so it's reasonable though should be free since it's not in the busy Central London District. Breakfast is great but menu did not change even though we stayed for 7 days. WiFi is free and fast. Staffs at coffee house are friendly. Surrounding is quiet and I believe there're a pub nearby but did not explore.

We stayed for one night. Enjoyed the experience and we ate in the restaurant for our evening meal. We were well looked after from the minute we arrived till the time we left. Staff were friendly and most helpful......particularly when we were given help to take our luggage to our room.
We stayed at the Mercure Windsor in August and it was the perfect ending to a 40 day vacation in England.
Lovely hotel in an ideal location for visiting Windsor Castle (buy your tickets online before you go), shopping, taking in play or wandering to Eton.
Staff were welcoming and helpful and the room was immaculate and well appointed.
We enjoyed this hotel, the staff are very friendly and because of that we booked another night. The food was very nice and well presented.
Special thanks to Martin (restaurant) and Rachael (reception).
Convenient to see my daughter who is at the university and for the park and ride to the train station to go into London. Taking the park and ride to the train station is much better value as the hotel car park is free. We only stayed one night but we were allowed to check in earlier than advertised and I couldn't fault the hotel's cleanliness or the staff.

Hotel choosen due to proximity to the venue we were attending, it's close to the rail station, in the town centre, easy too find...reception was spot on, nothing was a problem, room was beyond what I thought, modern, well thought out, clean...just what we needed, you cannot fault this cheap, modern well placed hotel.
