This is a trendy boutique hotel not far from the University District in Barcelona. At check-in, the staff didn't seem very friendly, but everyone else we dealt with after that was very nice. The decor is very trendy. The rooms made good use of somewhat limited space, and seemed to have been recently renovated. Seemingly good food options right in the hotel, but we didn't eat there. A Metro stop is about 2-3 blocks away. One word of warning: Don't stay here for the view! It's a very small, low-slung hotel, and our window merely gave us a view of another building across an alley.
Overall, we were quite pleased and would stay here again.

Very nice well situated hotel in Barcelona. The staff was extremely friendly and knowledgeable. They recommended good restaurants nearby and arranged for transport to the airport at the end of our stay. The hotel is within walking distance to most of the sites in the old Gothic part of town and near the waterfront.

We stayed here instead of in the old town centre as we wanted large luxury hotel room, its about 13 euro by taxi, there is a rank right outside the hotel. Also, the metro is just across the street if you want public transport which is great value in Barcelona. Whilst its in the business area next to the exhibition halls, the location ensures you get a quiet and good nights sleep instead of the noise from a city centre location.
There is also a large shopping mall about 400m walk away with at least 100 outlets including many well known brands; Footlocker, Zara, Nike etc and a few eateries too, mostly fast food types. Try the 15 screen multiplex cinema there too if your Spanish is up to it.
We liked the whole feel of this place, the gym is a typical hotel style, smallish and I missed not having a pool.
If you want to relax in style in a modern hotel but still have the old city options within 15min drive away, then look at this hotel. It's also only 15mins from the airport too.

We stayed here as were going to a convention in the convention centre in Diagonal Mar, which happened to be just next door. With the Diagonal Mar shopping centre across the street and the beach and ocean just down the street the hotel could not have been located any better. The pool area and terrace were beautiful and the rooms were very clean and spacious. I would definitely recommend this hotel for anyone staying in the diagonal area of Barcelona

8 of us went 17-19th oct to celebrate my hen. When we arrived at the airport we took a taxi to our hotel which is around 20-30 euros and about 15mins away. Check in was very quick. Our room was amazing, very clean and spacious. Only recommendation would be to have another mirror outside of the bathroom which all 8 of us girls agreed with. Service was a little slow with the staff having to remind them a couple of times about drinks that we ordered but otherwise very polite. I'm definitely returning next year with my soon to be husband for a long weekend. Another tip is if you want to go into the heart of town take a taxi. Again it's 15-20euros but so much easier than their train system. The weather was beautiful to with the pool on the roof you got panoramic views, pool was freezing but once you were in you warmed up. Can't wait to return next year.
