LOVED, LOVED this hotel! New hotel with a great sense of service. Fun, modern, and stylish. Great location if you wish to be a little out of the way of the major conjestion of Amsterdam. Still close to everything, but more relaxed. Attentive staff, good level of service, bike rental available at the hotel.

"Great hotel close to Van Gogh and Riijk museums."
We really enjoyed our stay at the Museum Suites. Staff were very helpful, nice clean room (Rembrandt suite), stylishly decorated and spacious. Ideally located for the Van Gogh and riijk museum but only a short tram ride to Dam square and the central attractions. Located in a quiet residential area with excellent local cafés and restaurants. Breakfast at joffreys (just around the corner) highly recommended. We will visit again.

Central to the main parks, it is def a great location, museums are a 5min tram journey away and the city centre only 10 mins. The welcome was very warm and couldn't have been more helpful. A real pleasure! If you can't be bothered with the city centre there are bars, cafés and a coffee shop nearby.

We chose this apartment to be close to Amsterdam Bos where a Lacrosse tournament was being played. using the tram/wlaking we were 20 minutes away. We took a one week let for three of us. The flat was huge, well laid out with modern furniture, large TVs and an excellent kitchen. Plenty dishes and cutlery and all the white goods you need to be fully independent.
Very helpful staff showed us round and answered all our queries.
A good little gym kept two of us busy most days.
The top (15th) floor has an additional large communal lounge/sun terrace area which is an extra bonus for views over the city.
Five minutes walk took us to a supermarket and the closest tram/metro line from which central Amsterdam was 20-30 minutes depending on the line chosen (5 or 51).

We stayed in an apartment with a balcony, which not only expanded the living space, but offered a welcome respite overlooking quiet gardens. The kitchen was fully equipped and stocked well. Short walking distance to the major museums of the city, and a charming neighborhood of restaurants, cafés and shopping.

Super hotel in a lovely location. Rooms are big and spacious, staff are quite friendly and with no formal reception it feels like going to an actual canal townhouse. Other reviews are right about wifi - you get logged out each time but that's easy to fix and the stairs up to the rooms are quite steep but that's part of the beauty of the hotel.

The Ambassade is made up of six or more canal houses. Our room was in a small building, while accessible to the rest of the hotel by an inner passageway, had its own door onto the Herengracht. We felt as if we were in our own little apartment, with wonderful hotel service. The hotel recommended a number of excellent restaurants and were helpful with reservations and directions. Would definitely go back.
