The hotel was ideally placed for the shopping area and the airport shuttle bus. Its was situated down a quiet side street which was perfect for an undisturbed nights sleep. I took a day trip to Carcassonne from the railway station which was only about a 10 minute walk away. This hotel was perfect for a city break.
The only thing I didn't experience were the breakfasts only because the weather was so perfect that I preferred to take mine outside in the town hall square.
I have stayed in Ibis hotels over many years and they have got better and better. Such good value.
I am a lone traveller and the fact that the price is for the room only makes life much easier.
This 5 star hotel-change-things-up-kinda-gal really appreciated the proximity of the Holiday Inn Express to the Toulouse airport. The free call using the white phone near information center (post baggage claim), the multilingual staff at ready, the free shuttle at exit B4...make this hotel a smart choice for traveling in and out of Toulouse.
The Tisseo bus at the airport (near exit B4) will take you to the city center. Costs 5,50 euro one way.
I enjoyed my one night stay at Hotel Albert 1er, thanks to very friendly personnel welcoming me at the hotel and being pro-active in helping. A very nice breakfast (worth it and absolutely recommended) helped me in coping well my early morning wake-up call. No doubt I will return here for my future trip (quality/price). The room was quite small but very cosy and with character. The complimentary Wi-Fi worked ok after a couple of trial.
The sheet very slightly scented and the bathroom/shower very clean and functional.
I felt in South of France since the building and the decor is very much authentic!

We stayed at Hotel Pere Leon for the first night of a 4 day tour of the region and it was a great stay. The hotel lookednewly refurbished and our room was great - contemporary, clean, comfortable and affordable. Great stay, thanks!
Good value hotel on the edge of the old town. Quiet despite the central location. Area boarders a grotty bit of town and a few drunks and people liviing on the street but nothing too close and ceratinly nothing that put you off.
