"The check-in staff was not particularly helpful upon arrival. I was not provided with directions to my room, information regarding the complimentary pastries and coffee, or any notice that two weddings were taking place on the property during my stay, which resulted in a higher level of noise than expected. In retrospect, this may have contributed to the lower room rate. The restaurant was satisfactory, and I especially appreciated that gluten-free bread was available. The bed in the main house was very comfortable and contributed positively to the overall stay. One suggestion for improvement would be to install less transparent bathroom curtains, as visibility through them can compromise privacy."
