"Splendid place for a two night visit to Lancaster."
Drove to Lancaster from Scotland. Hotel easy to find, Easy to park, speedy check in. Excellent room, well designed bath room, comfortable all around. Good breakfast, very helpful staff. Easy check out.
Left early on 2nd morning to drive home to Dorset. Excellent breakfast was provided half an hour before the restaurant was due to open, organised by the two very competent and helpful staff at reception, I suspect they were the duty receptionist and duty manager.
Well located. Great service. Wonderful breakfast. Really enjoyed my stay and I intend on staying at the Holiday Inn when I next visit Preston.
The only downside I can envision is the size of the car park. It is a bit small, but I didn't rent a car, so it didn't effect me. I walked from the train station to the hotel and walked everywhere I needed to go in Preston.
Everything that you need in your room very comfortable bed and clean, there is also a bath and a shower.
Also breakfast included in the price
We really enjoyed our stay and we would stay again in the future :) 10/10
Myself and my 7 yr old Grandaughter had a lovely experience at the hotel, everyone was extremely helpful and kind. Breakfast was lovely and lots of variety to suit all.
Evening Entertainment was wonderful.
Room was small but clean & comfortable.
Beautiful beach location.
My wife and I are making our way down from John O'Groats to Lands End in stages. This stage comprises the Pennine Bridleway. Of the four hotels/Band Bs we stayed in this was the cheapest by far and not far of the best. A weary walker could always do with a long bath - here we had a shower. Also, the bed dipped a little in the middle. Otherwise the room was spacious and the set-up well designed and the staff most obliging. The breakfast was more than adequate. We would happily return.
Had an excellent time at the Chadwick Hotel, the only problem was the family in the room next door, who constantly let their baby cry at 6.30am and to drown out the noise they put football on the TV. We thought this was very unacceptable and inconsiderate. No-one can help a baby crying but trying to passify would help. We were in room 7.
