From beginning to the end the stay was great. I was in Philadelphia for a long weekend to visit my daughter who is going to school at Drexel. I got there late on a Thursday night and was tired and cranky. The staff was excellent. Check in was so smooth. The room was large and comfortable. There is a great library bar to relax and have a drink that is fairly intimate. The location was so convenient. I was able to walk to almost everywhere I went that weekend.

Loved the hotel, it was very clean and comfortable. The location of the hotel was great it was in walking distance of every place we wanted to go. The hotel staff was great they were able to help us with everything we needed.
I booked a room at this hotel at the last minute and spent north of $300 for one night. The hotel staffs were professional and efficient during the check in and check out. The King-size bed I slept on was very comfortable, one the best I have had in decades! There was a free Wi-Fi internet, which is nice (but considering the price of the room, it is a must!)
They also have a gym, very spacious and having many choices of equipment. However, the room temperature at the gym was a bit too high for me. In fact, I chose to cool down myself by walking outside the hotel after my workout. Granted, I am a serious gym rat who sweats A LOT while running hard on the treadmill.
Overall, I recommend this hotel to travelers, especially those who attend event at UPenn.
Narrow stairs to second floor room were a challenge with suitcases and a walking cane. Bed was too soft for an old body and only a rain shower head is for the much younger set. I was glad to experience the shower before I had one installed in my home. Plastic mattress cover was a turn off. Great host and outstanding breakfasts!!!
